  1. I was thinking the same thing this past week, its a shame that the citizens in the pseudodemocracy of Iran ‘get’ democracy better than we do. And they face imprisonment and worse potentially for protesting like that.

  2. I see that California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is now slamming President Obama as a “cream puff”, says U.S. must support Iranian protesters, proclaiming we must take action.

So did Rohrabacher advocate nukin’ the US after the stolen elections in 2000 & 2004?

If so, does this make him another in a long-list of right-wing terrorists?

  3. as i said in a previous thread….they deflate the cities vote counts and inflate the rural areas

Turnouts of more than 100% were recorded in at least 30 Iranian towns in last week’s disputed presidential election, opposition sources have claimed.

In the most specific allegations of rigging yet to emerge, the centrist Ayandeh website – which stayed neutral during the campaign – reported that 26 provinces across the country showed participation figures so high they were either hitherto unheard of in democratic elections or in excess of the number of registered electors.

Taft, a town in the central province of Yazd, had a turnout of 141%, the site said, quoting an unnamed “political expert”. Kouhrang, in Chahar Mahaal Bakhtiari province, recorded a 132% turnout while Chadegan, in Isfahan province, had 120%.

  4. My heart goes out to them. They certainly deserve better.

Why do they have to burn stuff and ransack buildings to make their point? I know, we can say they are trying to “get their attention”. But unfortunately, it’s not the attention they want when the police and troops begin shooting demonstrators and beating them in the streets.

There has to be a better way. I don’t remember MLK getting any results that way.

  5. THEY are not the ones burning and looting. The Iranian regime hires thugs from Afghanistan and other desperate countries to go in and cause trouble, making it LOOK like the protesters are responsible. Time honored tradition. Our own beloved government does the same thing… Do you think the FBI infiltrates peace groups for no reason??? Two words to ya bud: Judy Bari. Blew that woman up and blamed her for it! ‘Nuff said.

  6. I’m not sure if there was fraud or not. There probably was.

The question is who committed it? The ruling party in Iran or outside interests? Is this another Venezuela type attempted coup?
