The trip across surface streets from LAX to the Space Shuttle Endeavour’s new home at the California Science Center took at least 12 more hours than scheduled. We’ve had similar problems in L.A. traffic. But it became a real Los Angeleno on the way…

And, for the historic record, here was our exclusive video of Shuttle Endeavour as it screamed just above The BRAD BLOG World News Headquarters on its final flight (until it’s eventually taken out of mothballs to help destroy the incoming asteroid) a few weeks back.
Given the horrific cold we’ve been socked with upon returning home after a week on the road, it’s nice to have a moment of non-political news to share with ya. Now back to bed…

Hopefully it doesn’t go the way of the Spruce Goose or the Rams…Should make a good local attraction for the kiddies field trips for a long time to come.
I only hope they keep a good stock of WD-40® (and/or whatever fancy anticorrosive agents they use) on hand over the years.
