Even the Klan is too embarrassed by them…
In one statement from August 2010, the Klan had this (shockingly reasonable thing) to say about Terry Jones, the Florida pastor whose Koran burning set off a massacre at a U.N. building in Afghanistan in early April this year:
The Klan also says it “absolutely repudiates” the Westboro Baptist Church’s practice of protesting at American soldiers’ funerals, and, maybe most surprisingly, it says it’s no fan of the Tea Party.
“Our Associates, members and supporters are here officially ordered: NOT to attend Tea Party events or support them in ANY way,” writes the Klan. “The Tea Party does not represent any but a shallow limited political agenda, which fails to serve our Nations interests. They are an extension of the Republican Party and seek to compromise it. We do NOT support any political party, all have betrayed the trust of the American people, and they have compromised their agenda to support the Progressive Socialist enslavement of the American people.”

Well, I suppose it’s encouraging to hear that the Klan is maintaining its ideological, uh, purity….
Too funny!
Good catch.
It is more evidence that the nation is going more and more mad by the day.
May I link to The Peak of Sanity which touches upon the notion of the effects of insanity on the nation going forward.
This is …hell I don’t know what it is.
America has gone insane…hell the KKK has become a voice of sanity.
What, the Klan is seeking respectability? One of the first things they should do. in that quest is to disband . It’s difficult to accept words of tolerance from an organization with a history of virulent and violent racism that murdered and terrorized generations of innocent black citizens.
It looks to me like they’re actually trying to help the Tea Party by publicly renouncing it, thus helping the Tea Party distance itself from the reputation of cloaked racism that follows it.

Wait, which organization are we talking about here? The KKK or the GOP?

If the Party-Of-Tea is actually the KKK, and has been forced to “come out”, that makes perfect sense.
In other words; if down is up, up must – by definition – be down.
I hate the 21st century!
Wow!
white sheets and cross burnings; unlimited anonymous donations to causes that steal our freedom and concentrate wealth to the upper 1% — both variations on the same theme
I don’t care what they say.In my point of view, all these groups are characterized as extremist and boil in the same boat.
Many African Americans are returning to the South. And why? Because the South wasn’t overrun by immigrants, thanks to the KKK. The South is also morally decent because the KKK would’t allow porno shops and abortions. The cost of living in cheaper in the South because it robbed by the public sector unions. African Americans should THANK the KKK.
