Looking at the egregious Alvin Greene case in South Carolina, we should all be well warned that election results from electronic voting cannot be trusted. It’s shameful that Democrats in Congress and the executive branch have not fought to get rid of easily hackable and unreliable electronic voting systems that are used in federal elections. (Did they learn nothing from the massive election fraud in Ohio and other states that got Bush re-elected in 2004?) Our state election officials in Texas contend that our completely unauditable voting systems are secure and reliable. They systematically ignore extensive and convincing evidence to the contrary. Please report and comment on any attempts by citizens to go to federal courts to sue to protect their voting rights. I tried that in our Texas State Supreme Court, but the effort was doomed to fail because of the composition of the court — all Republicans. I would support anybody who was willing to make an attempt in a federal court to protect the right to have one’s vote counted accurately.
