Last night, the far Righties over at FreeRepublic linked to my story yesterday on ACORN ‘Pimp’ Hoaxster James O’Keefe being dressed down by a federal judge, before being given a free ride to avoid trial and personal accountability for attempting to tamper with the phones of Louisiana’s Democratic U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu.

You can tell that ViViVi had only recently learned what a “Goebbles” was from Beck. And obviously he knows very little about who that character actually is.

But I still cannot get passed the absolute irony that people who fervently support O’keefe and Breitbart should ever compare you (or anyone else, for that matter) to Goebbels.

As far as I know, there is only one political operative in America today that is using falsified evidence of sexual crimes (and evidence that has been proven false, at that) to malign its political targets.
Very typical of the crazy Freepers except they lacked their usual venom, racist slurs, profanity and worse language that I usually get from them whenever they focus on democratic Talk radio. Bet you did not published them but got them.
Often, they will call you a communist, socialist, Nazi and pervert all in one sentence. They are the original tea baggers! The really nasty tea baggers that is!
I usually refer to them as the Free Republic.com Internet terrorists since they have sent me more than a few death threats.
Not everyone on their site is nuts but they sure have their share and quite a few more!
This Brad guy has a serious mental disorder. He reads rumor and inuendo on leftist web sites, and internalizes them as truth. He thereby creates an alternate universe, from which he generates a blog, which is in turn internalized by other mentally deranged leftists. It’s like a cancer.

let me try to guess at what these people are thinking… “Black people scare me, and there is no way I want to admit their disadvantaged, on average, situations in our country as evidence by poverty, rate of imprionsment etc could be due to discrimination, so therefore I must belive it is due to black people’s inherent deficiencies and besides, I don’t feel all that great or secure about myself, so it makes me feel better to think of myself as so superior, and thus, the millisecond some one gives me supposed “facts” that back up my bias I get visecerally emotional about it, its very important to my self esteem and its important to my denial of racial bias and it detremental effects on its victims…I glory that my worldview is visibly affirmed…and then along comes this guy that factually refutes the information I’m loving, that so confirms my biases…therefore, I can’t even fully consider it because how could there possibly even be an explanation of people that condone pimps and child trafficing…this guy must be crazy…in my world, I know, to my core Acorn has ruined our country and is the gravest threat to the moral fiber our land….how can any fact ever refute that…”

Just heard my sis-in-law’s father (staunch conservative) complain about his school taxes and suggesting people should pay their own way. And why not? He’s already got HIS 4 children and 7 grandchildren through the system. Oh and he isn’t complaining about the 1500% increase in his property value over the years in which people have moved to his district for the schools. If he were a true conservative, he’d stop whining about the taxes and move somewhere where they are lower. The invisible hand of the free market and all…
They paint everyone “else” who is “different” than them with the same “liberal progressive hippie crazy stupid” brush. It doesn’t matter what you say, they can’t hear you. They are all about labels and labeling people, and thusly feeling at ease with completely discounting anything a person says based on that label. Then they will continue to describe what they perceive what that label to mean, wrongly implying that it describes you as well. Deconstruction, analysis, and debate are not strong points with them.

I believe that these people actually believe that ACORN was guilty. I think that they believe it because – I mean, “we saw it with our own eyes” – doesn’t that make it true?
What I cannot understand, is their level of willful ignorance where the facts are concerned. We have all witnessed this since at least the presidency of George W. Bush.
