Well, well. As The BRAD BLOG reported previously, Sibel Edmonds will be back in the country by then, and likely able to testify LIVE on the stand, if the Commission allows it. Krikorian wanted her to do so originally — and she was willing to do so as well — but she was gone, and the Commission refused to extend original hearing date. Now, this could get very interesting…
UPDATE 7:16pm PT: In response to an email query about testifying in the case, if called, Edmonds wrote back to us tonight:
2- I will suggest that Krikorian party depose the FBI agents who have first hand knowledge of the relevant matters. I know these agents, and I know they will tell the truth under oath. In fact, they may be glad to finally find an outlet for the truth and what’s been covered up for many years. They pursued these cases avidly, seeking criminal indictment (justice) for the involved treasonous US officials…

You’re referring to Warren County, who had the lockdown. Can’t recall if OH-2 is part of that county or not, off hand.
But I should add, her original election — a special election in ’05 against Paul Hackett — was not without controversy. That’s the one where the were neck and neck until the computers suddenly went down. When they came back, she was winning. As I recall, it was “humidity” inside the counting room that was to blame for the stoppage in vote counting for that period.

I wonder if it was a “bipartisan” decision to help Schmidt beat the popular Paul Hackett at the time. Schumer certainly discouraged him from running for the Senate later. Methinks that the “bipartisan” “moderates” in congress now didn’t want to have a popular NON-corporatist moderate like Hackett in the House that would present a model of a politician that could appeal to independents but who appeared to want to be serving more the people he viewed as his constituents and NOT be beholden to the corporate lobbyist dollar!
A little off the subject, but that always bothered me about that election and how Hackett was treated. Might be related though as to how Schmidt has been given favored treatment over the years and if she contrasted herself as one who was more conducive to “financial enticement”!
