Or, maybe, mind-blogging…

Though having been accused once or twice of a God Complex, I’m now prepared to reveal this startling photo admission…

Beyond that, my greatest thanks to Ernie Canning, Ellen Theisen, Sue Wilson and Agent 99 for keeping things lively and interesting around here in my absence, and allowing me such an absence in the first place.
And with all of that said (or unsaid), I’m now back. Lots of catching up to do in the hours and days ahead. But otherwise happy, once again, to be stuck in the middle with you…

Good for you! A vacation, no matter how short, is a beautiful thing. The ‘middle of the road’ photo is an excellent composition.
I’d particularly like to express my appreciation as well for Ernie Canning’s contributions. He’s doing an outstanding job and I deeply hope he will continue to make regular contributions to the BRAD blog.
Me too RPW! Thanks for the thoughts… (And u 2 Lotta!)
Ditto on the photo comment above!
Welcome back to Brad…
great photos…looks like your time away was good for the soul.
Now you get to report again on the tricksters, scoundrels and lyin’ thievin’ bastards which isn’t so good ON the soul.
I demand a larger, higher resolution version of that picture of you in the middle of the road! I am quite certain I can’t live without it.
Don’t eat the fish!
Mercury!
God complex? Well, why doesn’t the photo show you walking on the water, Brad?
lol, looks like yer fixin’ to be road kill there B
Happy vacation. You truly deserve it.
I’m not blogging…but yet I’m blogging…I’m blowin’ yer mind!!!
Picture 1 – Shadowy figure, can’t be sure it’s Brad.
Picture 2 – That’s a STATUE! That’s not Brad!
Picture 3 – Brad levitating on water???
Picture 4 – Brad road kill??? Brad loses his left leg throwing himself in front of traffic…
wtf???
Picture 1 – Looks more like a silhouette of Greg Palast…
Actually, if you look closely, the shadowy figure in Pic 1 is also levitating on water! How is that happening? No Jesus jokes, please…I think Brad’s Jewish…
So was Jesus. Just sayin’…
Yes, all four pics, quite Christ-like… especially the last… the facial expression is incomparable! The ultimate expression of the blogger on vacation….
If that’s Silver Lake California you should be Fly Fishing, that’s sacrilege.
Brad, your exchange with Big Dan reminded me of a tale my Dad once told me about a little Jewish boy and a little Catholic boy.
Jewish boy: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Catholic boy: Some day, I’d like to be the Pope.
Jewish boy: Is that all?
Catholic boy: What do you mean? That’s as high as you can get.
Jewish boy: God is higher.
Catholic boy: No one can be God.
Jewish boy: Why not? One of our boys made it.
Brad, while you were gone we voted …. and decided to keep Ernest and get rid of you.
Just kidding! Although Ernest did a great job keeping things active, and I too hope he continues, you were certainly missed.
Hope it was a good chill-out. We all deserve a break sometime. Welcome back. Now strap in for the ride, it may get bumpy…
Yes, Brad does look “godly” in those pictures! He may never come back!!! He’s too relaxed!!!
…I still think that’s Greg Palast in pics 1 & 3…and possibly even pic 2…
In pic 2, it would be fun to push that wooden statue into the water and watch it float down the rapids…ok, I’ll stop it…
A-HA!!! See???

Remember I said that the astroturfers and media liars should be sued for misinformation, directly causing more people to die without health care reform? And I said, isn’t it the same thing suing the tobacco companies for false advertising or suppressing facts causing people to die?
Jury: Philip Morris USA should pay $13.8M in punitive damages to lung cancer victim’s daughter
http://www.wgntv.com/business/sns-ap-us-smoker-lawsuit,0,5043013.story
Just for shits and giggles, why doesn’t someone actually start a lawsuit, that their family member dies because they don’t have health care, and it’s directly due to astroturfers purposely misleading people on health care and stopping coverage for all???
We were talking about: can you sue the media and entities like Freedom Works, for lying to the public…and I said that…
I said: “Yes, sue them for murder”. Isn’t that what that tobacco suit is really about? And they won!
Can we sue media (like Rush Limbaugh or even ABC), astroturfers like Freedom Works, or even politicians that are lying, misleading, or suppressing information to the public about health care, which can be directly attributed to stopping health coverage for all…like this successful lawsuit against tobacco companies, who were sued for basically the same thing: lying, misinformation, suppression of information directly leading to the deaths of people???

Thank frickin’ god! Sounds good to me!
Dammit.
A big thanks to RPW & Dissilusioned for their kind words, but let’s face it, there’s only one Brad Friedman, and he’s the principal reason I’m honored to post at The Brad Blog.
Looks like a great break from the madding crowd, Brad, wherever it was. I hope you’re feeling invigorated and strong, as it looks like we’ll be needing your dogged determination more than ever, as Abomina pulls out vial after vial of snake oil. That middle of the road image is grand, if a bit misleading. In any case, welcome back to the “real” world, such as it is…
Ahhh,
I remember the last time I did this. It was 1989. I was so unhappy having to return home to L.A. that I quit my job, sold everything I had and moved to WA. Now I look out my window and see this view every day.
Ahhhh.
Come join us one day Brad! There’s a huge L.A. Ex Pat group here. We make up half the population.
I live in Washington, and most every day I see mountains, as I drive to and from work. Trees everywhere. Lotta rain round here though, which is why we have so many trees. Lots of water bodies too. No poisonous snakes, so our woodsy experiences are extra beautiful.
Washington D.C. though, too many poisonous snakes over there. I like Washington state better.
Glad you had a chance to breathe fresh air and experience magnificent natural surrounding, Brad. Your fine contributions to our awareness are a plus for democracy. You sure deserved a great escape.

Sure. Rub it in, YBird.
Spent the bulk of last Summer’s vacation (much longer than this year’s sadly!) in your neck of the woods. LOVED it. Lots of time on the peninsula, camped in the Hoh Rainforest, etc.
Don’t tempt me. You may be sorry some day.
