32. I think we’ve established that maybe half of the hundreds of detainees had any remote business being detained, and about five of them had some semi-okay reason to be held.

    So glad Mr. Worthington talked about the earlier tribunals that the military used to use. There was no reason to not use those treaty-agreed methods to establish prisoners of war. EVERY American needs to know there was a bonafide method to deal with military theater suspected participants. That Bush made up a kangaroo court for his phony prisoners was unacceptable, that the houses of Congress went along was unacceptable, that Obama is continuing these kangaroo courts is unacceptable.

    I agree with the caller Arman that this torture policy and the kangaroo court Military Commissions and no habeus corpus all point to an elaborate method to SILENCE PATSIES. Another possible reason would be that the Afghan Pipeline and Operation Iraq Liberation crowd wanted to give the appearance that something was being accomplished in their invasions and rounding up a bunch of innocents gave that impression, as long as they were never tried publicly with the use of evidence.
