The terrifying feature-length documentary, shot in high-definition video, details, for the first time, the complete Clint Curtis/Tom Feeney/Yang Enterprises vote-rigging scandal, in all of its, yes, sometimes very gory detail. It also tells a tale of the media, as it details my attempts to tell the story over the last four years, to a corrupt, detached, and too-often frightened corporate media. Four years later, I’m happy to still be here to see the release of the film, quite frankly. There were some pretty scary days back there. It’s regrettable that nobody’s yet gone to jail, but maybe we’re getting closer. For many of you who found this blog because of the Curtis story back in 2004, thank you for all of the support throughout the years! I’m wondering why the democratic leaders don’t take a strong stand on e-vote rigging. Where did Howard Dean go? He was shown personally how easy it is to hack these machines.

I got my copy in the mail (from calling in to talk to Brad on KFPK the previous week)and my husband and I watched it immediately.
It was during that fevered crazy December 2004 that my frenzied Googling found Clint Curtis’s affidavit — only available at http://www.bradblog.com.
What the hell was Bradblog?
Green, and flashing strobe lights, so much flair, and yet, this was the guy who had the goods.
And now, at last, the story is told. That strange affidavit, of which I printed up and distributed many, along with that first email from Greg Palast after election with the subject line: “Kerry Won”.
Those two documents represented hope. By confirming theft. It’s been a long haul, and it’s not solved yet, but THE TRUTH CANNOT BE HELD DOWN FOREVER.
For example, Jason Leopold reports that on this coming Monday at 10:00 AM, the Department of Justice releases its Inspector General’s report on the U.S. Attorney Firings. Let’s see how close to the truth that comes.

This is a link to a Miami Herald story posted today about the implementation of the ‘no match’ law recently passed. Toward the bottom of the story it states that the State manually checked their records for the appx 9% of the newly registered voters flagged by the no-match’ process and returned 50% of them to the voting rolls. That’s about a 50% error rate in the ‘no-match’ process with just 1 verification run through.

Just saw a lot of this on Link TV tonight. Bang up job! I’ve been waiting for a long time for Patty Sharaf to get this film out after excitement working on it when she mentioned it a year ago or so when when talking to her about her previous great work with “Citizen Stan”, which alerted me to my family’s personal connections in my youth years overseas to Stan Sheinbaum’s history in the past as well. I still hope to meet up with him in L.A. some day.
I really hope you both can get this distributed more to the mainstream too. It’s a story that must be heard by the American public, and you and Clint were excellent in telling this story.

I just saw this brilliant documentary on LINK, and I feel physically ill, and extremely sad. If “Hacking Democracy” upset me, this film pushed me right over the edge. And where is that miserable piece of shit Feeney now? Doubtless playing the back 9 at St. Andrews. Here’s my question, Brad. After all the rhetoric, after all the speculation, after all the ranting and raving about how unbelievably appalling this is, WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO??? I’m tired of rhetoric, I’m tired of the posturing and muttering. I want my country back, and I’ll do whatever I can to help do it, but NOBODY has yet been able to clearly tell me what that is. If the most powerful and precious gift I have to express my views is my vote, then I have been robbed even of that 🙁 So tell me, Brad…WTF do we DO??
