Tomorrow is West Virginia’s turn to primary. Unfortunately for the voters WV is totally an ES&S state. Over half of the voters will vote on DREs, though some think that those machines are safer because they include a vvpat printer. As usual we will watch the media for problems in WV counties so you don’t have to.
As usual, today’s notable voting news stories are linked below…

Where is JoJ???
One blog sedd the earth is angry, John McCain (the latest version) said “time is short” in the global climate change crisis, and the angry bradblog doesn’t think pet crematoriums should do soldier bodies.
Well, that is all reasonable, but since there is so much anger, may I propose an anger management party?
Lets call them the Anglicans of Amurka? I mean, gotta luv it or leave it right, leave it left, or leave it in the status quo?
If the gummit was composed of true patriots they would take a leave of absence, and make it permanent.
Since they are not honorable, that is not going to happen.
So, we have honorable elections, as true democracies do and demockcrazies do not, and we solve the problem.
Right John? Or not right because nobody knows what happens in eVote religion elections?
So, veterans fight for what? Territory?
Rejoice then!!! WE GOT TERRITORY. But it is angry territory (so lets not call it earth anymore … shall we call it oit)? Perhaps oy vey?
I voted this morning in WV. Everything went smoothly. The officials officiated. The machines showed pretty colors. I pressed parts of the screen and it changed. I pressed “Vote” and “confirm” and the screen changed color. The printer printed.
Everything went smoothly.
But then, so do some robberies!
There is no way of knowing if the ES&S machine recorded my vote or if it will report (has reported) it properly to the ‘authorities’.
It’s Black Box through and thru!
