The Colorado media are beginning to pick up on something we have been saying for awhile. Secretary of State Coffman cannot seem to make up his mind on anything. He was for decertifying almost every voting system in the state; then he recertified them ignoring the reports that led him to do the decertification in the first place; then he was for paper ballot voting and now he is against paper ballots.
VotersUnite is going to mention the following over and over again. Please verify your voter registration. Voter rolls are being scrubbed across the nation. New data bases are being put into use and may not be totally accurate. The only way you will be assured of being able to vote in November is to ensure you are on the voter rolls….

Hey John, classic example of a mind being taken over. Duh, what do i do next????????
Has there been anything posted here about the situation with Florida’s delegation? I’m in California but another blog that I read is populated by a number of Floridians who say that the Republican controlled legislature in their state forced the primaries to be held earlier than the DNC rules allowed and that if the delegation isn’t seated the legislature won’t put the Democratic nominee on the November ballot. I don’t know if this is a threat that could actually come about so I thought I’d ask the people here at my favorite election integrity blog.
Here is the post. I don’t know what’s going on, and hope to find out.
Some are flip flopping about paper ballots, but the people’s House is staying the course on the telecom immunity bill. It is a good sign of a good vote.
No immunity for fascist telecoms like AT&T! Boycott AT&T and Diebold!
Thanks for your work on voting systems integrity.
Now I hope to get some integrity into left-wing talk shows. Why are most of them supercritical of giving retroactive amnesty to telecoms and their puppetmasters in the Bush administration, BUT.
This criminal activity started BEFORE 9-11! We have all been giving the traitors amongst us a free pass on the fascistic tendencies in both parties having begun pre-911 and pre-Patriot Act. All of the excuses for disobeying FISA, and all other restrictions on violations of our privacy are simply smoke and mirrors with All “loyal opposition” groups playing the “limited hangout game”, and ignoring their most cogent argument against the criminal activity done under cover of authority. Let’s not forget that all of the rest of the world knows the truth and looks upon us as ignorant fools. Which of course, we are.
Senators of both parties give speeches on C-span which would be ludicrous if one simple fact were understood: the wiretapping crimes began long before September 11, 2001. We truly elected a Spy-in-Chief in 2000, and in 2004. This year we will elect another fascism-prone government, regardless of party labels, because we all seem willing to forgive wanton abrogation of our liberties by our governing class.
Remember, folks: FISA cratered before 9-11……
FISA VOTE NEWS: … I was wrong 🙂
The Dems did not cave. A House bill with stronger civil liberties protections and no
telcoBushCo immunity will now head for the Senate.mcjoan’s work on this at daily kos will give you all the details.
But in short… it turns out that the vote was not the Kapitulation Kabuki Redux that myself and so many others had feared. It seems that there really was a coordinated plan in place and that Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the Dem leadership really had arranged things procedurally so that the Repub’s pavlovian derailment tactics would be short-circuited.
And the Blue Dogs actually came to heel and voted with their caucus… except for a few of the worst of the “Bush Dog” variety. (Those curs will need to be “put down” come next primary season 😉 )
So FISA news is good as it’s going to get at this moment.
And those who have contacted Representatives to protest any adoption of the bad Senate bill should not forget to call back and offer thanks and congratulations for those who voted right.
Thanks for the good news, Zap. I’m watching the Winter Soldier stuff today, so haven’t been able to follow this personally.

It is not that you were wrong, it is more that you were expressing a clear view of history, and then projecting that history into the future. Your position was in fact the most likely to occur.
But Dredd is composed not only of calculational intelligence, Dredd also does mystery intelligence. The type of intelligence composed of love, hope, good faith, and good beer.
Now, you know I love you zap, love 99, Brad, and the rest of the 6 or 7, against which resistance is futile.
I sensed that the people’s House was ripe, was full of having rejected a lot of Amurkanism, had deeply inhaled a lot of Americanism, and was getting ready to put it on the line baby!!!!
Yeah, I say the old steam engine spirit of America named The City of New Orleans, and my friend zap, WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH, and we will retaliate, excalmate, realitate, calculate, and regurgitate the fascist infection within us.
Antibodies, stand at attention, ready weapons, and FORWARD MARCH.
The bushie fascists are on our target screen, and we will thrive until they pass away from our screen, our nation, our lives.
You are a good cat zap.
