Also, thought you all may be interested in a new site devoted to transparency in government
and one of the best ways to find legislation. (www.statesurge.com)
They also provide my blog a widget (script) that shows the most active bills in any
of their states or at the federal level (free of charge). Contact
Larry@statesurge.com if you are interested in this widget.
You can sign up for a free trial on StateSurge.com and test out this legislative
management system. Its the best service I have seen for tracking legislation.
Apparently, soon much of the information will be open and free to use as a research
tool. Currently, http://www.StateSurge.com tracks Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Tennessee, and
Federal legislation, but soon all 50 states will be integrated.
Great job, Alan!
Apparently democracy is alive and well in America and the people do give a damn! Not that you’d know it from the pretty and safe stuff they let you see on CNN!
Thanks for that!
And the Randy Newman tune was workin’!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing us the peeps on the street. The MSM would like all of us to think we are alone and don’t stand a chance. But when you see there are others out there with their boots, sneakers, sandals and pumps on the pavement, it gives us all hope.
We went to a peace rally two years ago that must have had well over 200,000 in D.C. and there was next to nothing and some worse than nothing coverage in the media. Which included coverage of the counterprotesters, (all 150 of them) as though they were an equal force.
Brad and other brave news bloggers are our last hope against a totally corporate-controlled totalitarian world.
Again, thank you!
