Advanced Voting Solutions has now told three Pennsylvania counties that they have decided not to go any further with federal testing of their voting system, a requirement by the state before any voting system can be certified for use there. The question is all about a change to software that was required by the state. Rather than not take the path required by PA law, AVS has decided to argue with the state that the change is not consequential and does not require federal testing and certification. Rather than scream bloody-murder county election officials seem ready, willing and able to give AVS a pass as they talk about how much they like AVS’s voting machines. What is wrong with these people and when will they wake up and realize AVS is scamming them?…

PA Rep. Babette Josephs of Philadelphia is the key decision-maker in convening a public hearing on voting technology in Pennsylvania. I spoke with one of her staffers today, who said that a public hearing is under consideration, but there are more important issues on their legislative agenda.
We the voters of Northampton, Lackawanna and Wayne Counties think our voting machine problem is a very important and timely issue. If anybody has any access to Rep. Josephs, Phone: 215.893.1515, E-mail: bjosephs@pahouse.net, please encourage her to hold a public hearing on voting technology as soon as possible.
They shouldn’t bother testing, they should just toss the junk out. If they want to test something they should test printers to print paper ballots.
“there are more important issues on their legislative agenda.”
What could be more important than the constitution?
Hey, hopin’ all are fine… Look, No paper trail and it’s gonna be a rigged election, end of story. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out who the actual American voices are that are powerful enough (in the background{tsk, illuminati wanna be’s})to make this happen despite the rest of the world’s(and anyone with a brain)laughing at how obvious it is! Groups should form to take ‘unofficial’ tallies by folks At The Polling Stations or something and be put online by a reputable group (hiring ex-hackers or something) to make sure it’s done promptly+ reliably. Folks could be given a chance to see on an official record where exactly their name, code etc. has been tallied.
The elections officials are all for these machines because they know they will get jobs with the companies later, if they green light whatever the company wants now. Or worse, they could be getting paid now or the Rs have some dirt on them. Even something as simple as a one night stand could ruin an election supervisor. Whatever it is, the election supervisors (and many of our current officials who got elected via machines) don’t care whether the votes are stolen or not. Hell, they may well be in on it.
Our job is massive education. Period. We have to make people aware that Nancy Tobi’s (New Hampshire’s) Hand Counting Methods represent the only way that we will stop a Giuliani presidency, as well as a loss of the Senate.
The single most important thing on earth is the vote count in the American election of Nov. 2008. So don’t let anyone waste your time with anything else. Forget audits, kill HB 811, fight for Hand Counts locally.
Why test it anyway? The votes are not counted. They should bring back paper ballots and hand count them. Who cares if it takes days to find out the results of a election. There is no need to know the results an hour after the polls close.

..love it.. o.k. It seems enough of the Brad Blog folks have enough sceptism/cynisym/hopefulness/ optimism(hidden, mostly) to be a worthy representation of fellow Americans. No One With A Brain would accept Voting Machines unless you can check the results were accurate, period! My guess is Rowe, rumsy etc are all still hard at work in the background. (Gee, you can’t get mad (or prove a damn thing) now that Gates +Petrayer are the new Uncoruptable replacement/diversions, despite reading from the rowe/rumsy/cheney playbook amazingly-perfectly,..groan..getting dizzy..) Be afraid and Do Not Accept F’n Voting Machines!
