Retired Major General Paul D. Eaton took no prisoners tonight on Real Time with Bill Maher. Sadly, the General states that the problems at Walter Reed, which he blames on poor planning by the administration from the start, are the tip of the iceberg. An excellent companion piece is the General’s NY Times Op-Ed, “Casualties of the Budget Wars” published Tuesday.

Alan, Good one.
Why can’t they figure out that a fascist square peg does not fit in the america round whole?
They need a new cabinet official “Handler Of The Scandal Of The Day” …
It is one fascist scandal after another with these incompetent wannabe poor excuses for public servants.
Remember the storm of lies fascist Gonzales and Mueller told when we were protesting the “patriot” act? Well, once again we were spot on:
(AP Story, emphasis added).
The lying fascists whined about how few “national security” (phoney name) letters were so critical …
My theory will prove true I think … that they were spying on democrats but could not come up with indictable evidence. They haven’t even charged a congress member who they said (these untrustable liars) had cash in his freezer … which tells me something is wrong with their case.
Alan-
Thank you for the great video!
It does a body good to hear straight talk.
I will be including this link to emails to friends.

Good one!
OT but every time I try to submit I have to do it twice?
I like Rosanne Barr. She ticked off those “too sacred to question” men and the audience seemed to agree with her. I did too!
The fact that the guest who worked in the white house, but couldn’t smell a rat years before working there just proves he’s out of touch with compassion. However, he did eventually cause some trouble and I’m sure Jesus would have condoned that.
Yes, it’s true, Jesus is the biggest trouble maker the world has ever known, and our current religious leaders are very uncomfortable taking about his teachings.
Jesus wouldn’t have approved of voting machines that couldn’t count poor peoples votes!
On this show Maher also brought up the fact the Rudy Giuliano is no friend of civil liberties! A year before Rudy took office there were:
720 arrests for marijuana misdemeanors.
When Rudy left office there were:
59,945 arrests for marijuana misdemeanors.
The newly elected senator, Jim Webb was on television this morning saying, (paraphrasing) criminalization and incarceration rates are destroying the country. He’s going to be spending the next three years exploring why this is happening. These astounding figures concerning Giuliano may not be a bad place to start.
Jim Webb should be commended highly for having the guts to tackle this issue. The bad people in the “prisons for profit”, “drug war”, and “rehabilitation, (think Sembler)” industries aren’t going to like this one bit, and the lawyers, judges and others who benefit probably aren’t either, but it is WAY PAST DUE!
The police will benefit from not having to arrest non-violent people who tend to giggle at silly things, and the American people will save, and make billions, instead of projecting our violence around the world.
First they came for the potheads
