Today the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that vote totals in three-quarters of the cities 314 wards are suspect.
The paper reports:
In the same manner, the city reported 65,581 ballots cast in the Democratic primary, but only 35,182 votes recorded for the party’s sheriff candidates.
The state is blamming the bogus vote totals on programming problems but they seem to be only concerned with the total number of ballots reported and not the total number of votes given to any particular candidate.
Apparently this is nothing new for the city and county of Milwaukee as they have been in trouble with the Wisconsin state legislature for not following state canvassing statues for over 5 years.
Maybe this time the city and county will do the right thing and figure out what the problem is finally. It’s past due that they do something.
Milwaukee uses ES&S Optech Eagle 3P optical scanning machines btw, and voters had to vote for one party only this election. They can cross over parties in November.
I can’t even comment on this anymore. Is this on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, or FOX??? If they aren’t covering things like this, how much more proof do you non-believers want, that the corporate MSM wants to keep us stupid and in the dark about the most important issues we all need to know to be informed citizens??? Was this, or was it not on corporate TV news? Is there a website where you can check if a story hit coroprate TV news? There’s your next multimillion dollar website, if someone does it.
The executive director doesn’t have a CLUE what she is talking about… and the only way they’re going to VERIFY anything is to count the ballots by hand!
I don’t see what everyone is so worked up about. They *did* count the votes, after all. I mean, wanting the totals to be correct is expecting a bit much…
It’s not like democracy depends on it, or anything!!!

Aw, Chris, just relax – democracy’s way over-rated. All you really need is the trappings of democracy – Hitler built the autobahns, kept the trains running on time, made the streets safe, at least for the heterosexual Aryan majority… We have a full-fledged Potemkin democracy right now, and Diebold et al. have it so tightly locked up that we’ll never get the real thing back absent total civil disobedience. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m getting on in years, and I’d be more than willing to die on the barricades if that would further our cause…

At this point, the people running our elections are a bunch of corrupt and immoral thugs. At ever level of every state we are innundated with those who don’t care about transparency or Democracy at best (Edman, et al) or are out to destory it at worst (Blackwell, et al.). Either way, the results are the same — Germany in 1935.
