An “explosive” new press release from the office of Congressman Tom Feeney (R-FL) reveals “new information” regarding his November opponent, Clint Curtis, the “Craziest Man in America“.

Wow! Craziest Man In America! That’s quite a distinction. There are some pretty crazy men in America these days, as if you haven’t already noticed. And it’s odd that Tom Feeney should award this title to Clint Curtis, because …

I never even knew Clint Curtis was a little bit crazy! Did you?

Well apparently he is, because Tom Feeney certainly wouldn’t say so if he wasn’t.

Right????

Here’s the text of the press release sent out by the Feeney campaign this morning [but dated yesterday, with emphasis in the original]:

Craziest Man in America
Crazy Clint Curtis Creeps toward Congress

(Oviedo, FL) – U.S. Representative Tom Feeney celebrated the results of the 24th District Democratic primary tonight from his campaign headquarters. He was joined by fellow supporters who basked in the news that Clint Curtis was the nominee for the 24th District.

“Clint Curtis is the craziest man in America. Serious times demand serious leaders and Curtis is not even in the same solar system as the rest of us. With tinfoil hats in hand, black helicopters swarming, and purple Martians landing, this election promises to be more entertaining than Saturday morning cartoons.

“I have worked hard for everyone in our district, and I’m confident that rational Democrats will come out and support me. With rational Democrats supporting me, this will be an 80-20 election,” said Feeney.

Reliable sources have confirmed that Feeney did in fact celebratethe results of the 24th District Democratic primary“, perhaps a bit too vigorously! … and I’ll say more about that as soon as it becomes appropriate to say more…

… but in the meantime, Clint Curtis had this to say about the “explosive new charges” contained in the Feeney press release:

If crazy statements are the best Mr. Feeney can do to defend against direct challenges for a public polygraph and debate on the issues of:

  • Attempting to illegally manipulate elections
  • Assisting a company to commit espionage against the US, and
  • Selling his vote for personal gain
  • then his is a pretty sorry campaign. I do not expect the citizens of this district to fall for Tom-Foolery any longer. The top tier of the 13 most corrupt congressmen in Washington has all resigned except for Mr. Feeney. With him it will take indictments and defeat to pry him away from his cash cow of corruption.

Psst! Way too vigorously! … I’ll keep you posted … DEVELOPING!!

Here’s a little free speechwriting help Clint:

“If caring about honest elections in America is crazy, then call me CRAZY.”

“If fighting against Feeney’s corruption and criminal behaviour in our Concress is crazy, then I’m CRAZY.”

“IF wanting the Democracy that our young men and women are supposedly dying for in Iraq to MEAN something here at home is crazy, then that’s what I am.”

“If believing that this Republican administration is out-of-control and rubber-stamp Congressmen like Feeney have abdicated their duty to perform CHecks and Balances is CRAZY, then I’m INSTITUTIONAL.”

“You would have to be WAY BEYOND CRAZY to support Tom Feeney in this race.”

Good luck Clint. This is going to be a real battle, and you are NOT going to have much of the media on your side, unless there is good video of Feeney “getting carried away.”

      Geezus.

I like that approach Charlie L.

And how about a little “dualing lie detector” type campaign. Maybe Clint can do another one, film it, then film Feeney refusing to take one?! Pick the most informative sequences, set to music, I can see the story board now! What fun!!!

About this whole “moran” thing. Wasn’t there a candidate at some point named “Moran?” And wouldn’t it be likely that the pictures of signs like “What a moran” might have been related to this?

There is always a laugh here on the blog and this one is all thanks to Feeney. He has lost it. Did he ever have it. Sanity that is.
Does he deserve our pity, who knows.

Tom Feeney’s campaign depends on convincing as many people as possible that Clint Curtis is crazy. He could control the vote count but he won’t have to if the people of the 24th district aren’t ready to believe what is going on.

The sheer size of the problem is daunting enough, but the more of it you expose the less you are taken seriously.

Maybe some of you think my approach is wrong, because I focus on something that seems so tangential, and perhaps it makes me look even less serious to the politically engaged: Cannabis.

I’ve written on my blog about why I don’t talk much about 9/11, and the reason I don’t talk much about voting machines is much the same. It doesn’t give us an action plan that avoids violence.

Keep on doing what you are doing. We all have a part to play and I am not trying to discourage anyone from doing theirs. Clint Curtis should be given support and attention by those who want to expose the corruption.

Keep telling the truth, but drug war lies are polluting everything, and cannabis prohibition is killing us.

Clint Curtis has to be running for Congress on more than just the issue of making sure the elections are fair. That’s important but is he saying anything about how we are going to end war? Is he saying anything about ending the war against me?

It makes me sad even to say this to you because I love you and what you are doing is so important and good, but I feel like you are leaving too many of us in the line of fire without so much as a word of support.

I previously held the title “Craziest Man in America” but since I recently moved to Cairo, I guess it was up for grabs.

As far as the Moran issue, Chris Hooten, it really doesn’t matter if there was a candidate with that name. The guy holding the sign is a Moran, and so is Tom Feeney.

Check out NBC punking Raytheon What’s the betting that this story would be nowhere if it was, say, the Swedes who had built a 98% effective anti-RPG system. I guess the rule is Don’t Piss Off The Israelis.

Frankly I thought Clint Curtis was crazy the first time I saw him–he was about the last public commenter at one of the John Conyers election fraud hearings, and he was babbling about having contacted the FBI and the CIA and who knows all about some vote-rigging scheme.

A few weeks leater I was seeking out some crazy thing called bradblog where reportedly there was a link to Clint’s testimony in the Conyers forum in Ohio, and I watched Clint Curtis confidently explain how a software module could be designed to eat itself after it had done its dirty work. I’ve been following bradblog ever since. I’ve read Mr. Curtis’s book “A Fly on the Wall” and I’ve learned that Clint Curtis had a lot of good reason to be nervous that day. He’s a courageous guy, and that’s what we need in Congress today. He and Dr. Bowman are going to be real assets in Congress and I hope they’ll be supporting each other.

The first time I came across the “Moran” thing was about 6-9 months ago when a troll came on here and called us all a bunch of Morans. Shortly thereafter one of the faithful posted the picture. It’s been kind of a running joke ever since.

One of the faithful did give a tongue-in-cheek rebuttal because it was his last name.

As for a politician named Moran – meet Congressman Jim Moran

I still like to believe it’s a misspelling of Moron – more fun that way!

to whig: i think i completely see where you are coming from…u are looking for someone who is a complete break from the cookie cutter politics of all rhetoric all dumbedup plans of nothing but fluff words and constant in eptitude and disconnect with the vibrant core of America…
I have been astonished by Clint Curtis’ approach, because he goes FAR BEYOND the vote-rigging issue…which he sees, as any rational person would, and I put money on Thomas Jefferson sayiong the same thing if he popped up at the roundtable to discuss all things politico nowadays… but Mr. Curtis talks very in-depth about an exit strategy for Iraq, and my other hotbutton issue…energy independence, with focus on Bio-diesel, heavy focus….he also goes in depth on health care, and a system to fund it through tariffs…to me there is no more complete candidate in any Congressional Race nationwide, bar none…not to discredit or slight anyone, but Clint Curtis can really do damage to the whole paper elephant…

check out this video …his WESH Debate (supposed to be a debate where he discusses Iraq & Biodiesel… I am all the way out here on the Pacific side, but I feel how big this is all the way over here…

My biggest thing for energy independence at the moment that would create jobs all over the place is getting ourselves off the grid by having huge tax breaks on photo-voltaic solar panels and inverters installed on every home in the US
and individual generator- mills for the windy areas
Now that would be a hell of a lot better than building nukes
Then we could have hydrogen-electric hybrid vehicles by having water to hydrogen converters in our own garages using solar or wind to power them
      Just my dream, thats all

Politicians willing to talk about better ways to deal with drugs are truly rare, but here’s a line from the Mayor of Salt Lake who spoke at an Anti-Bush rally last week!

“No more phony, ineffective, inhumane so-called war on drugs”

When he first took office here a few years ago, he dismantled the “DARE” program, and ticked off people who were using it as a cash cow. A real brave statement to make indeed, but not when you consider it was proven that once kids who took the program found out they were being used, they tended to go ahead and use drugs out of spite.

      The whole speech is here.

Thanks for posting the Moran pic again! No offense to Jim Moran, but I agree with you…I’m goin’ with it being a ‘creative’ alternate spelling of ‘moron’. Much more fun, & lord knows we need some fun in these crazy times, eh?

      Re #11 Whig,
You can’t be serious, my dear. I’m all for legalizing weed & injecting some sanity into the disgraceful so-called ‘war on drugs’, but it is NOT a major issue, imho. In fact, it makes me a tad suspicious of your motives.

There are plenty of major issues: electoral fraud, rampant corruption, Iraq, a pitiful healthcare system, to name just a few. Cannabis is not on the list.
Oh yeah, and the fact that our president breaks a new law every damn day. That one’s at the top of the list for me!

    19. 24)
whig said on 9/7/2006 @ 10:06am PT: [Permalink]

Joan #23: I can’t believe you think it is not a major issue to end cannabis prohibition, and expect those of us who use cannabis medicinally to be more concerned with government corruption than the fact that police might come to our door at any time and arrest us, take away our families, and subject us to imprisonment and the destruction of our lives.

I’m definitely not saying that these other issues aren’t absolutely vital to talk about. We all do our part to expose all of these things and if you read my blog you will see that I do. My primary focus is cannabis for a number of reasons.

It is medicine. It is the difference between suffering and survival for millions of people. It is more than a fun recreational substance, it is a spiritual and social enhancer and it helps people to understand one another.

Without cannabis, the only kind of revolution possible is a violent one. You cannot change how people think and those who are willing to do the things that were done on 9/11 are not going to give up without a fight. Are you seriously thinking that you can just vote for better people and that will fix things?

I’m not saying to stop talking about anything you are discussing. It’s so vital that we talk about all aspects of this. I’m not excluding 9/11 from my own site, it’s just not my major topic of discussion because it does not provide any way to get to a solution without cannabis.

Unless someone wants to suggest another way that will peacefully change a society for the better. When a society is insane, it needs to change. Antidepressants and stimulants and sedatives are awash throughout our land and it is making people docile.

I could talk about this for many paragraphs and in so many ways but it would be unfair and that is why I have a blog to write my own articles. I’m trying to build bridges, though. I’m hoping to make as many people as possible see that we are on the same side and we do need to mention one another from time to time, because we need one another to accomplish a peaceful transformation.

PetGoat #13, it sounds like you are confusing Clint Curtis with Jeff Fisher. Clint testified before judiciary committee members, while Jeff Fisher appeared as a citizen at the voting forum held by Conyers. Clint Curtis maintains that he wrote a prototype of what vote rigging software would look like at the request of Tom Feeney when he was speaker of the house in Florida, while Jeff Fisher claims that election results have been manipulated since before 2000. He claims this was done using trained students at Baypoint highschool under the supervision of the CIA and a slew of other people. Before that appearance in Ohio, Fisher claims, his life was threatened by Mossad agents. Hope that clears things up!

Tom Feeney is playing right into Clint’s hands.

Wasn’t it Ghandi that said something like…
      “First they ignore you,”
“Then, then they laugh at you,”
      “Then, they fight you,”
      “THEN, you *WIN*.”

Tom Feeney has tried *so hard* to ignore Clint Curtis for the past year. Obviously THAT didn’t work.
So, now he’s trying the laughter tactic. Nope, that ain’t gonna work either. No cigar!

The fight is gearing up for November. *THEN*, Clint wins.

Clint might do well to even refer to this quote in one of his speeches, when he asks why Tom Feeney has ignored his allegations for so long(although making sure that he makes it clear he is not comparing himself to Ghandi, but instead to the fact that many righteous causes against those in power follow a similar path).

If Clint’s allegations are so “crazy” WHY hasn’t Tom Feeney, a *Sitting Congressman*, tried suing Clint for libel or defamation of character??? Why is Feeney content with Clint running around telling everybody this, hmm??? THIS is a question I want Clint to be repeating constantly. Many others have sued for much, MUCH, less.

I’ll tell you why Feeney has shied away: Beacuse Tom *knows* that such a lawsuit would spill the truth out for everybody’s eyes to see.

Clint, congratulations! We’re rooting for you!

How would Saudi Arabia finance their extremist fundamentalists? How would Iran? No, energy independence is totally inappropriate for the PNAC plan for global domination.

Oh, I suppose the neo-con Rethuglicans could put up black helicopters to make clouds and then charge us for sunshine, maybe.

Clint Curtis never wrote any prototype program in a single day, and that is blatantly false.

Curtis program was being worked on for more than a year in advance, and was being done by someone else at the time on top of this. That will be shown once and final in court, that Curtis had lied and misrepresented the facts that he simply came along and built a fraud system in one day for his boss.
