The Orlando Sentinel jumped all over the story of Clint Curtis, his apparent victory in last night’s Democratic primary, and the epic battle “between Good and Evil” which it sets up in Florida’s 24th Congressional disctict.

UPDATE: Concidentally, (??) Clint’s race was ALSO the last thing mentioned in this report from Brian Kern at Insurance Journal:

Coincidentally, (??) these are the only published reports I have found which mention this race at all.
hey i noticed right above the mention of Curtis is a mention of big time 9/11 truth candidate Lt Col Bob Bowman (well of course they don’t mention he’s a 9/11 truth candidate, but he’s winning his primary – good news IMHO)

Well, I stand corrected. I previously posted here that there was no mention of Clint’s race in the Sentinel, but I just went and looked again after reading this, and sure enough it’s there. It’s the last paragraph of a long article about the district 8 race. It was pretty easy to overlook… Sorry for the misinformation though. No harm intended.

I said it a long time ago, that they do NOT want a populist fu#king up their agenda, and they will do anything to prevent a non-“Corporate shill” from getting in, especially a fair voting advocate. If by being silent works, they’ll play that game
The media serves the Rethuglican government and the government serves the corporate-controlled media. They are no longer a “free press” but a very expensive press owned by a very few and active as the propaganda arm of the neo-cons. This includes even the most “venerable” of our media institutions — the New York Times and the Washington Post. The meme of a “liberal press” was always a lie — don’t be fooled. Repeating a lie over and over and over and over and over and over again does NOT make it a truth.
It is time for a new paradigm.
WE must BE the media.
We must “…place before mankind the common sense of the subject, in terms so plain and firm as to command their assent…” (Jefferson in re the Declaration, in case you don’t recognize it)
KILL YOUR TELEVISION!!! It is time to RETURN TO PAMPHLETTING.
For every hour we spend online getting reinforcement from friends, we must spend an hour OUT THERE with those who do not know about Raw Story, Brad Blog, OpEdNews, Consortium News, Truthout, BuzzFlash, Greg Palast, Mark Crispin Miller or any of our sources of truth. We have to win the hearts and minds of those who would rather watch LOST or AMERICAN IDOL than think about where our country is or where it is going.
EVANGELIZE FOR DEMOCRACY. We are running out of time.
The Insurance Journal is filled with right wing corporate propaganda. It’s suppose to be a non-paritsan trade journal, but it really isn’t. At all.
So the media is going to ignore Curtis Huh?
That verifies it for me! Clint MUST be the REAL DEAL!
I wonder if Clint’s gathering of voters real intentions on the internet scared them? Time to roll out a national effort along those lines!

I checked in today’s Orlando Sentinel, again looking for Clint Curtis’ name, and once again came up disappointed. Not one word. Really. I read every article all the way through, and nothing. We’re facing a tough battle here. All the help anyone can give will be much appreciated!
