According to usually reliable sources, Congressman Tom Feeney (R-FL) flexed enough muscle on Monday night to have his potential November opponent, Clint Curtis, evicted from what was supposed to be a public meeting.
The meeting, at the Republican Club of North Brevard, in Titusville, FL, featured Feeney as a speaker. Curtis was sitting quietly in the audience when Feeney noticed him there. At that point, according to our sources, Feeney immediately turned bright red and started whispering to some of the people near him.
One of those people raised a point of order and pointed out that there was a Democrat in the room. She said she wanted him to leave because this was a Republican meeting and she did not feel it was appropriate to have a Democrat in the audience.
The chair said that perhaps Democratic members of the audience would be converted to Republicans. When others objected to Curtis’ presence at the meeting, the chair informed them that it was an open meeting and the rules required that Curtis be allowed to stay.
Curtis remained silent.
Feeney jumped up and took over the podium. He stated that one of his opponents — Clint Curtis — was present.
Then Feeney said, “I have never met him before.”
Regular BRAD BLOG readers will recognize this attempt at deception, which Feeney has used many times.
In fact, Curtis worked at Yang Enterprises Inc. when Feeney was their lobbyist and chief counsel, and the two men were involved in several projects together. One such project began when Feeney asked Curtis to design a prototype of a vote-rigging program.
Curtis complied with the request, thinking that Feeney wanted to see what a fraudulent vote-counting program looked like, so he would know how to detect such a thing. But later Curtis found out that Feeney wanted the program in order to manipulate the vote in Democratic-leaning South Florida.
The BRAD BLOG has reported extensively on this story, and has noted repeatedly that Curtis has taken — and passed — a polygraph test administered by Tim Robinson, the retired chief polygraph operator for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
On the other hand, Feeney — who has been caught in countless lies pertaining to this episode — has refused to take such a test himself.
After claiming he had never met Curtis, Feeney then said — three times — that he wanted to run against him. Advocates of election integrity have been eagerly awaiting such a match-up, anticipating that it would bring the whole sorry saga into the bright light of national politics.
After making several accusations about what Curtis had written about George Bush, Dick Cheney and himself (in Curtis’ book, Just a Fly on the Wall), Feeney said that he wanted Curtis to be asked to leave.
According to our sources, a public official evicting a citizen from an open meeting is in violation of the state’s Sunshine Law. We have also been told that Curtis will investigate the incident for legal ramifications and take all actions allowed by law, and that Feeney will be held accountable for his actions in this case.
As Curtis departed, he encouraged “all honest Americans to depart.” According to the reports we’ve received, almost one third of the audience — including Democrats, Republicans and Independents — left the meeting.
One of the people who left was Tracy Williams, chair of the Brevard Democratic DEC. She turned to the group and said that everyone is welcome at Democratic DEC meetings. She also personally invited Mr. Feeney to speak at any Democratic DEC meeting.
Several of those who stayed for the meeting reported that members of the club were appalled that the Republican Party had become such a closed-minded organization.
Closed-minded? Perhaps. But there’s something more involved here, is there not?
In Curtis’ words, “Seems like Feeney is scared to death of the truth.”
He may be impossibly corrupt, but apparently he’s not stupid.

Is that light fitting above Feeney’s head meant to be halo cause that’s the only way he’s going to get one. Pity it didn’t fall on his head. Have started to feel queezy looking at any photo of Bush (honestly). Completely Phsyco-(Bush) somatic.
Clint Curtis is sooo Brave. What a truly fab person he certainly seems to be. Clint, you are giving hope to the free world and to me. Its also been good to see Bev Harris posting on the Brad Blog of late. People like Clint and Bev and of course Brad and his Bloggers really make me believe there is hope for change. This meeting would have been a real hoot watching Feeney turning bright red. I guess that’s what happens when the truth confronts him personally.
Tom Feeney,.. Jeb bu$$h,.. and monkey shit pResident,..
three peas,.. same pod,.. unethical slime-balls.
fabulous…! i’ve never met the man before, but i recognized him immediately! bwah ha ha…
There’s a quote from curtis about this on his blog, too…

Man, I hope that by some miracle they don’t game the primary and curtis gets the nom!
I applaud those people That left with Clint. They are true Americans. Go Clint, you are hitting them where it hurts,in the integrity. You’ve got it and they sold theirs long ago,if they ever had any to begin with.

They do that shit with the photo’s all the time .Its sick how many times it shows up in “photo op” pictures. Its all part of the “smoke & mirrors” …google “coercion”

I guess the reality is just not pretty. My gut must be reacting to the real picture.
I guess Feeney didn’t like the fact that the truth was in the audience, Tee-Hee
I think he was involved in that Gus Boulis hit too (Abramoff), along with Lemme, cocaine smuggling, training hijackers to fly, vote rigging, (what’d I miss besides the obvious ?)

Check out this picture ,as subtle as it is sick.

What’s this, did I miss something ?

Yo, Floridiot, thanks for the link! It’s like peeling an onion, layer after layer…
Anyone know the date of the halo picture? Just wondering if it was taken just after Curtis unwittingly developed the software for Feeney?
…MMIIXX
Yep subtle and sick to be sure.
Has anyone done a frame by frame of fox news. I guess though they are not even subtle. They are glaringly obvious.

Cant get that page to load.
Beverly Harris is skeptical of Clint Curtis?
Jesus, I’m going to start watching American Idol!
Not really!
I hope Feeney go’s down. I hope the whole crowd involved in this conspiracy winds up in prison. This is the kind of treason that attacks the very foundation this country was founded upon. Feeney is just doing what those above him tell him to do. The whole Bush family has committed crimes that are so numerous it would take several books to document them. They are above the law so I don’t expect to see any of them pay for thier injustices. Feeney is another story though. I guess if he felt lucky he could flip on the Bush Crime Family. I’m sure he’d be pretty paranoid in the witness protection program.

have you got a link on that comment ?
man the Reuglycans are looking more like the ugly americans the world thinks of them. They hate what American stands for, truth, justice and fighting for thef rule of law. Why do they hate America so much0?

See Floridiot’s link in # 10 and read the entire story. The Orlando Weekly states that Bev Harris is skeptical of Clint Curtis.

Was unaware about that. Have searched the blog and found a link to a reply from Bev to Brads position but just got to BlackBox voting. There is a lot of info there and couldn’t locate Bevs particulr reply. I did have suspicians earlier on but Clint is doing some great things attempting to get some sort of actual signed affidavid from voters that they voted for him as proof to use in court challenges. I do think sometimes clint does not explain himself particularly well, as I noticed in an interview he did with Brad.
My instincts have not served me very well. I would never have personally suspected the chimp as a Wannabe Dictator on face value and if I didn’t know better would still find that difficult to believe.
#10 Floridiots Link
Couldn’t get through to your link so searched for the google cache of the story.

Try the link at #10 again. It worked for me all along, but I “fixed” it so that it might not give any trouble now.
99
Just tried it again still same problem. Could be my connection and some compatability issue.
Well, phooey, Sally… thought I was being so clever. 😉
99
Thanks for trying. I’m sure what you did was clever but I use a very old laptop to connect to the net to guard against viruses and spy’s like you, so had you foiled from the start 🙂 This protects my very valuable garbage that I defend religously on the other not quite so old, never connected laptop.
LOL, Sally! 😛 I’m paranoid about the contents of my computer too! Every time the processor kicks in when I don’t see why it should, I think the NSA is scooping up all my subversive emails about the weather and whether my mother gets to go to her favorite restaurant, or has to make do with another one for one reason or another. They have me pegged as a dangerous subversive for all those “mass mailings” of PhotoShopped images of Fitzgerald peeking in Rove’s window. When they find me in my ultra-heavyweight tinfoil hat, I’ll be dragged off to a FEMA camp for the mentally infirm. So. I’m vigilant!
99 🙁
“They have me pegged as a dangerous subversive”
Seriously? Have you had a run in with them. Has anyone official made threats. Wish I could spy on them to see if we or me are on any lists.
I’d be surprised actually if you and even sweet little me are not on their (keep a close eye on them “terrorist” list) Not that we are anything resembling terrorists. They should put themselves at the very top of that list.
Amen to that, sista. Baggy old peacenik broad in her tinfoil hat being called a charred kettle by a scorched black pot!!! Haven’t a clue. That’s the problem. You KNOW they are breaking the 4th Amendment bigtime, but you do not know how far it reaches, what they watch… until, of course, you do… which is when even the peaceniks have to start thinking stuff that goes against their instincts, facing things they know nobody should have to face.
Having it their way, there are public gatherings where perfectly decent citizens get kicked out, and House Judiciary hearings in the basement, and Senate Judiciary members trying to make crimes the size of treason retroactively legal… and on and on and on. That’s when the peacenik’s gotta face that peace may not get a chance without a really awful fight. I do not hold with the large faction of peaceniks who are only so out of cowardice. That’s cowardice, not peace. So. If they haul me off for shooting off my mouth, that’s the way it goes. I’m an American. The Constitution is not just a damn piece of paper.
Yeh they are stupid men with loads of money who live in spy books. I really believe that with modern tech very soon the fight will not be possible. Technology now enables them to monitor everyone too closely. So you need to be pragmatic and try to look at what is achievable in the current climate.
The only revolution possible will be to withold money from big Corps. Stop buying everything that comes from them. You will not be able to fart without them knowing. Whats the point of been hauled off to prison when if you stay free you can keep whispering telling people quietly not to buy their crappy produce. But do it quick because they can even control who gets to buy and sell. Dictators can do almost anything we let them.
Theres always hope that the Supreme court will do a backflip and start standing up for Americans rather than their personal Cronies. That would set a completely new tone.
Be proud of your tinfoil hat 99. I am eager to get one and maybe the Blog could sell me one.
Nonviolent change does seem almost impossible but once you learn certain spiritual things then you know it can happen easily. The peacnicks do not know these techniques so are not successful in achieving the peace they crave. Thats all I’m saying on the belief front and maybe more than is appropriate.
A’m moving in a few days so had better start packing but will be back.

thanks ,after reading link, Curtis only wrote “proof of concept” software as requested by Feeney .So pre e-voting or regardless of model types “proof of concept” was shown ! Nothing more nothing less.
mick
P.S. The orlando weekly shows its bias in the title “IS THIS MAN CRAZY?” regarding Curtis’s claims.
MMIIXX #16
It’s towards the bottom of the page in the link that Floridiot posted in message 10 on this thread.
Who can blame Beverly for not taking ANYBODY at face value after so many years dealing with shills and connivers.
Whoops, looks like MMIIXX got an answer to his question already.
thats all I was trying to show in my sometimes working link, that they label him as crazy right off the bat, to try and minimize Clint, then they turn around and put the true stuff in the middle, then scorch him at the end again… typical wing-nut writing
A better title would have been with “Is This Man Lying?” with a pic of Feeney. Feeney’s the incumbent, he’s the one who is being accused by Curtis of asking for the ‘proof of concept’ software (thanks for that more precise and useful phrase), he’s the one who went to Scotland with Jack Abramoff, he’s the one listed as one of congress’ 13 Most Corrupt by CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washgington, who led the charge to hold Feeney’s guru Tom Delay accountable for his corrupt practices).
It’s shoddy journalism when the writer of the article didn’t even bother to follow up with Bev Harris, because if he had, he would have known that she retracted her original, critical statements of Curtis after she realized she misunderstood the distinction mentioned above — proof of concept rather than accusation that it was used in any specific election, which Curtis never said — one would think it would be incriminating enough that the elected official Feeney asked for it … but this is Florida we’re talking about, after all…
The writer apparently didn’t check to see that significant developments have occurred in the last year.
I expected more from an ‘alternative’ weekly, not the usual lazy drive-by journalism of the corporate media.
Indeed. I used to like the Weekly. I was very sad when I read the outdated and incorrect data in that article. Shame on them!
Clint need everyone’s help Assume there is a media black-out now that Clint has won the primary, and Clint needs to have you be his eyes and ears. Send any links you find to clintcurtis.com “Contact Us”. All emails are read, even if not all are contacted immediately. I imagine that ever since Clint won, he’s be sent a lot of emails.
Thanks for your help and patience!
