Please note that I have segregated out all of the articles that discuss the Diebold security issue from the rest of the articles. Today the corporate national media finally woke-up and began to do their job. Wall Street Journal, New York Times, United Press International, and Associated Press all reported on the Diebold security ‘chasm’ and, as it turns out, other voting news items. In the face of this reporting and quotes from renowned computer scientists and experts in security, election officials in Georgia, Maryland and Utah have spoken out that there isn’t any problem as far as they are concerned or that it is just a minimal issue. They are aping the line from Diebold who must be looking at the beginning of the collapse of their house of cards. And from Florida we learn that Diebold has shipped TSx machines that are not state certified to 5 counties. The state is covering for them. Three primaries next Tuesday; Oregon, Kentucky and Pennsylvania….

Comments can not be made to the diebold florida post.
It was a hack attack per Brad.

Good idea to split them up. Now it will be a lot easier to see who wins their evident competition to see who can have the most "glitches".
Do you know who the heads of IT are at Diebold, ES&S, and Sequoia?
These three people would be targets if anyone wanted to destabilize the American election system so that the government could not be changed by the votes of the people. No one will know, right?
These three people would be targets if anyone wanted to make the elections so disfunctional that a modern dictatorship would form.
A modern dictatorship is one where some law mandates using electronic machines and those machines are made by three companies that are loyal to that dictatorship. And those machines do not work reliably and credibly.
A dictatorship that had only one purpose: to make sure the machines were such that no one can say under oath that the elections went fine. Yeah, and that those machines are doing a heckuva job.
Some bloggers on this blong can’t figure out which political party would engineer such a mechanism. It is really, really hard to figure out isn’t it?
It takes brilliant scientists and journalists and bloggers to figure that one out. Whew, they must be really tired trying to figure this one out.
That seems like what you are trying to say John, that the companies who make voting machines are NOT "doing a heckuva job" and that it is serious enough to jeopardize national sequrity.
Is that it John?
Just wanted to give a heads-up for Greg Palast on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal tomorrow a.m.

Good heavens….is that article for real..!!!!!
It just seems like every day it goes from bad to worse for you poor folks south of the border.
You should take to the streets in your millions and protest this corrupt, greedy sick administration, the same way the Russian seniors did a while ago when Putin took away their free transportation passes.
The old folks were out there, bless ’em, with their signs etc, and if I remember correctly, it was during their winter also, but that didn’t deter them.
Guess Putin must have feared for his life as it didn’t take more than a few hours for him to recant and give the elderly their free passes back.
There IS ‘power in the people’ and that CAN move mountains if you all stick together.

Yes, that story entitled "THE SPIES WHO SHAG US THE TIMES AND USA TODAY HAVE MISSED THE BIGGER STORY —AGAIN", is painfully accurate.
The data they collect is used to intimidate, threaten, or neutralize political opponents.
The political opponents, according to the polls, are the American people who have opposing views to the republican dictatorship.
