More news is breaking about the inspection of the Diebold TSx machines in Utah. I imagine the reports will be coming out for another week or so. Tuesday (tomorrow) is the Illinois state primary and most counties are using new voting technology. …

John, I LMAO at that Florida ballot flub article, where the voter couldn’t figure out how to connect the two segments of the arrow on his absentee ballot, so he just
takes his pen and jabs it through the candidates name
You can’t make this up
(I mean I pictured that in my mind and I could’nt stop laughing, I wonder how long he stood there and stared at it before giving it the stab )
I think why it was so funny to me because thats exactly what my dearly departed Dad would have done
(how do you work this new-fangled crap?, he would say to me)
I went to an antiwar rally in downtown Orlando,FL yesterday. Those in attendance included Clint Curtis. The media had helicopters hovering overhead for two hours but only one 10 second shot was on the local cable news not even on broadcast channels.
I asked the Fox talking head why there was no local coverage of the sancho story in Tallahassee and he said as far as the media was concerned it is a non story. He said it is perfectly legal for the secretary of state to bar the media from government meetings. I politely sugested he either change legal department heads or do some research himself.
I called my County Clerk yesterday to ask if Sequoia had warned her about, or recalled the malfunctioning memory cards they learned about in the Ohio elections on March 9 & 10th–10 days ago.
The elections are being held today–(we had a blizzard last night & all schools etc. are closed, by the way, which affects turnout)
Sequoia had promised to warn or recall their faulty memory cards when 1000 of them screwed up & showed bad battery or read back errors. And this is the first time our county is using ES&S with AutoMark.
Nobody in the County Clerk’s office had heard anything about it.
Of course, none of them read bradblog or votersunite either.
It’s a Republican utopia up there.
All’s well that ends well.
