Today it appears that California has decided to change their procedures for certifying voting systems so those procedures favor certification of the Diebold TSx. At the same time a lawsuit has been filed against favors to Diebold in North Carolina.
From Georgia we learn that the chief sponsor of Georgia’s voter identification law told the Justice Department that if black people in her district “are not paid to vote, they don’t go to the polls,” and that if fewer blacks vote as a result of the new law, it is only because it would end such voting fraud. And DoJ staff recommended that the Attorney General object to this law, but the AG ignored that advice and he gave his approval. Last month a judge suspended the law because it represents a poll-tax….

Two little words for the EFF: Class-action Lawsuit.
Put this sham voting company, who has no business in elections period, on the rocks. Take Diebold down to the bank for criminally including secret software, having illegal code, and never being certified by any agency to begin with as required by the law.

Has John Kerry won Ohio yet???
Regarding Georgia’s most recent attempt at disenfranchising African Americans: Jim Crow apparently never dies. Like every bad movie monster he lurches up again and again even with a stake through his evil heart.
Is EFF involved in CA. Let’s see – Fl, Oh, and now Calif. They can’t win without rigging elections!!!
Recertification hearing draws protest from activists over last-minute changes in procedures
On Monday, November 21st, California’s Voting System Panel (VSP) was slated to hold public hearings on whether to recertify Diebold TSX touchscreen machines. The California Election Protection Network (CEPN) issued a press release inviting concerned citizens to speak at the 10 a.m. hearing and attend a rally at Secretary of State Bruce McPherson’s office to encourage state officials to “send Diebold packing before Turkey Day.”
But when CEPN spokesperson Sherry Healy called to verify the hearing date and time, she received startling news.
