The administration seems to be in a "Hail Mary" mode, to use a football metaphor. Instead of trying to gradually regain the trust (?) of the American people through reasoned debate, they’re attacking by questioning the motives of their critics, in effect throwing a 50-yard pass into triple coverage, hoping for a miracle.
Amazing, really. Cheney is hurting Bush, big time.
Yet he can’t shut up. His chief of staff is under indictment for lying and obstructing justice, and there he is, blaming the messengers who tell the American people it’s all a big lie. Really amazing.
Nixon’s low was 27% At the current rate Bush will be below that by Christmas. Merry Christmas!

I received an excellent form letter from Dr. Dean regarding the Dems plan to win Congressional seats in 2006. I believe that the DNC has an excellent plan that will unfold over the months leading to the mid-terms. Everyone knows that the Dems are the only immediate threat to the neocon power grab. Vote Green or some other progressive party in your local elections but save your national vote for Dems. If you can contribute to the DNC, please do. My check is in the mail but the funding gap is huge. The healing will start only after checks and balances are restored

Well Mr. President last year 51 bears died and this year 35 were killed by unnatural causes in the lower 48 states. The Yellowstone bears are suffering from inbreeding (like yourself but not by choice) and the males are trying to leave the Yellowstone area. Expert have noticed peculiar behavior changes supporting this fact as well. "The Yellowstone population can be connected by a wild lands corridor to one of the remaining 8 populations in the lower 48 states if we act now," says Louisa Willcox Wild Bears Project Director at the NRDC. Another truth is that brown bear has a hard time reproducing compared to other species. The Bush administration reversed a law protecting the 58 million acres of wildlands that were put aside for future generations and now allows offroad vehicles in these public wildlands which is destroying wild animals’ habitats. As I once spoke before on this site, the Indians know the Grizzly Bear as the most powerful animal in the spiritual kingdom know for it’s healing ability. To remove them from endangered species protection and to start hunting the brown bears like they do in Cananda is to murder the last of this great specie outside Alaska. The government is asking your opinion for the next 90 days. Expert opinion by naturalists, biologist, or wild animal enthusiasts don’t count. This is so in the end when the bulldozers come and they start cutting down the forests that were to be preserved for future generation, these people who will get wealthy when more roads and houses are built instead of saving the brown bomber can say,"this is what U(Americans) wanted." I called my Repub representative soooo many times in May, June and July about the Downing Street Memo, and I TOLD them, Bush is going to have one hell of a bad summer. Why? I called my Rep’s office sooo many times, I know I left an impression. They could recognize my voice, I’m sure.
