  1. The Genocide in Gaza that Biden enabled still seems to be the elephant in the room. Complicity in genocide was a bridge too far for a substantial number of voters. It depressed turnout in an election where the margins were already razor thin.

    You can’t normalize genocide & then moralize about everything else. People recognize how utterly hypocritical that is. The DNC elevated this existential threat to democracy in 2016 and then couldn’t even best their ringer.

    They lost the rubber match with “Nothing will fundamentally change 2.0” and a second heaping helping of “Not Trump!” and little else.

    And in the postmortem, Dems round up all the usual suspects, thus making sure they wouldn’t learn anything of merit this time round as well.
