Enjoy the very large football game this evening, then please focus on your Valentine. Here in H-Town we’re already gearing up for the Fat Stock Show and Rodeo (that’s what they called it when I was a kid) while celebrating Mardi Gras and mudbug season. Next month we’ll be hosting the Final Four. So more madness than usual around Southeast Texas. And please consider supporting a disappearing craft with a subscription to the work of one of these excellent political cartoonists.
Perry Dorrell blogs as PDiddie at Brains and Eggs,
usually on topics concerning the strange brew of Texas politics.
He’s also on Twitter @PDiddie.

Dear Brad, I write to add a positive note regarding your Blog’s beginning. The Super Sunday Toons show that you have not lost your edge. I remember your early fights with loony “Thor” Hearne and his dishonest Congressional testimony about purported “in person voter fraud”. I went to Law School with that clown, and he was filing bogus lawsuits before he even got out of Law School. He used to brag about it to me. It used to piss me off. I should have reported him to the Missouri Bar examiners. Thankfully, you came along. And Wikipedia editors did their part. I love, love, love these cartoons. Not only do they show your crusading spirit, but they reflect your sense of humor which we older gentlemen need to preserve. It’s better than having a stroke.
William –
Hah! If you remember the “Thor” Hearne days, you are indeed an old timer! And, yes, he’s still out there and *still* deserves to have his license to practice removed by the bar!
That said, the great PDiddie gets credit for our great weekly toons here! I get credit only for allowing and/or beg him to do so! 🙂
Thanks for all the kind words, William. And happy for *whatever* it is that still brings ya round from time to time!
