On today’s BradCast, a witness to Wednesday night’s shooting during protests in Charlotte, North Carolina. [Audio link posted at end of article.]
On the second night of demonstrations following the police killing of an African-American man, Keith Lamont Scott, in Charlotte, one of the peaceful demonstrators was gunned down in cold blood. The City of Charlotte quickly announced that he was killed by “civilian on civilian” gunfire. As it turns out, the man wasn’t killed, he was in critical condition on life support at air time (AP has now since reported he has died), and several ministers who were witnesses to the shooting, including the Charlotte Clergy Coalition for Justice, believe that it may have been carried out by police, not by a civilian.
“I saw the man go down on the pavement,” said Minister Steve Knight of Missiongathering Christian Church in Charlotte, according to a statement released last night by the Coalition. “It was an ambush. The victim was shot while he stood between two ministers, and we believe he was shot by police. We would like to see surveillance video from the surrounding area that may have captured the shooting to determine who was responsible for the deadly shooting.”
As the Charlotte-Mecklenberg Police Dept. — which currently refuse to release video from the first shooting — say they are reviewing tapes of the Wednesday night shooting, one of the witnesses, Linda Flynn, Executive Director of the Charlotte Spirituality Center, joins us to explain what she saw from just “feet away” from where victim was gunned down.
“I was about ten feet away from the gentleman who was shot. We heard a loud bang, it sounded like a gun shot, nobody knew where it was coming from, and we saw the man go down…Of course there was a pool of blood there. People who were directly next to the gentleman started vomiting because they had such a graphic view of everything.”
Flynn goes on to say it’s “unclear” whether or not he was shot by police or not, but adds: “I think at this point even the police have understood that it is completely unclear as to how the shooting happened. There are questions there. It would be very normal for all of us to have some suspicion because we’re not receiving transparency. That’s what we’re calling for. But I do firmly believe, as a person of faith in this community, that it was a peaceful protest until police decided not to make it not so. And that is our concern.”
She argues that it was the ramped-up militarized police presence that sparked violence during Wednesday night’s demonstrations and explains her concerns about the history of race relations with the police in Charlotte, where she says it now looks like a “war zone”, and we also discuss her concerns about “seeing shooting after shooting after shooting” nationwide.
Also today: Even Donald Trump says he is “very troubled” by video of the police shooting of Terrence Crutcher, an unarmed African-American man seen with his hands up in in Tulsa, OK, as he was gunned down, but his Veep candidate Mike Pence thinks there’s just too much talk of “institutional racism”. A Trump campaign official from Ohio insists she doesn’t believe racism existed at all, until Barack Obama was elected President. (Seriously.)
Then, new polling from Fox finds Trump’s lead over Hillary Clinton growing in three key swing states (along with disturbing Democratic denial). And, finally, a huge gasoline pipeline is reopened in Alabama, following a massive spill. We take a look at the Colonial Pipeline company’s dreadful history of both spills and cleanups across the country…

If media spirals this into Second Revolution, you can be sure everything you been fighting for on this blog will be forfeit.
I’d entertain George Soros having a free ride in an unmarked government van @ 3am and the domestic terrorist funds cut abruptly 30 minutes after that.
Corporate media won’t talk about it since their dinner plate depends on not talking, or calling people anti-semetic when you point out dual citizens holding high offices, with these problems in place the rule of law will never ever ever be restored. As you all can see here, I am a wormy swarmy piece of shit so maybe someone better can explain it. I don’t agree 100% with this version either, but keep in mind DIFFERENT ISSUES of broken rule of law are now STACKING UP so it’s fucking time to get over the small shit.

The corporate media has been focusing their attention on Hillary Clinton’s secrecy, lies and peccadilloes at the expense of even bothering to mention Donald Trump’s alleged bribe to Florida’s attorney general who, in turn, immediately dropped the low hanging fruit of fraud investigation concerning the defunct Trump University. Trump’s practice of using dishonesty, fraud and discrimination as a life-long business model is almost unknown thanks to the corporate media.
No, the corporate media is intent, as always, on leveling the playing field by pushing a more-than-qualified (albeit incorrigibly neo-liberal) presidential candidate down to the level of a grossly unqualified corporatist and racist demagogue. So don’t worry, its the money they want, along with the increased deregulated power they could receive at the hands of a right wing government.
If the corporate media has any hand in fomenting a “second revolution” it would probably be due to their conscious failure to keep would-be Trump supporters informed enough to think critically and make intelligent decisions about the really important stuff happening right under their noses.

I’d entertain a link or two from reputable sources backing up such a declaration. Chronically debunked woo-woo blogs such as Infowars, American Free Press or somebody on Reddit do not count as reputable sources. Besides, a billionaire throwing money at those who have been marginalized does not rise to the level of crimes against third world nations and the only planet we’ll ever know committed by the likes of Paul Singer or the Koch brothers.
From State of the Nation’s Open Letter to the U.S. Congress:
After nearly 8 years of a traitor in the White House you have all failed — DISMALLY (deplorably?) — in your official responsibilities to uphold the U.S. Constitution. There has not been even one official overture to impeach the current criminal in the Oval Office.
I suspect that if the “State of the Nation” was in existence during the Bush administration, its Open Letter to Congress would have been more succinct with specific and concrete charges such as committing gross dereliction of duty by leaving the door open and allow the attacks on 9/11 (the real one), and war crimes concerning the subsequent and ultimate false flag operation by conducting the invasion and occupation of Iraq. As it is concerning the 114th Congress, the State of the Union’s open letter is full of vague innuendos, leaving it ineffectual as any redress.
Rest assured, if any purported second revolution insists on sweating the small stuff like Benghazi or Email-gate, and insist on being the tools of the divide and conquer oligarchs, it will most certainly wither and die on the vine.
