I spoke earlier on today’s BradCast, in some detail, about the idiocy of the Utah Republican Party deciding to use an easily-hacked Internet Voting scheme as part of their Presidential caucuses tonight, despite years of virtually every world-class computer science and security expert warning against it in no uncertain terms.
But, just to underscore the idiocy of Utah GOP chairman James Evans’ decision to blow tens of thousands of dollars on this horrible idea, here’s a screenshot of the portal where Republican voters in the state who signed up to participate in the “online caucus” are supposed to cast their vote…
And now here’s a completely fake version of that page, as created by some of the same white hat computer scientists who, years ago, hacked a D.C. Internet Voting scheme within hours (and found Iranian and Chinese hackers inside of it at the same time)…
Can you tell the difference? Would a GOP voter in Utah? (And, if they did, would they notice the fake before or after they threw their “vote” away by casting it at a phony site?) Go ahead to the fake one — it’s not dangerous — and fill in one of the fields!
Utah GOP chairman James Evans just happens to be a “payday lender” profiteer, just like Hillary Clinton’s pusher in the DNC.
Who knew?
They can’t say Utah democrats aren’t showing up to vote anymore. Just give us somebody to vote for and get out of the way!

I’m up late taking screen shots to make sure things don’t flip here, but right now at 5:30 a.m. the democrats have been up all night counting the hand marked ballots and Sanders is winning by 79.7%
Republicans are voting for Old Testament Cruz on the machines. 🙂

No actual evidence in that article to support that contention. No actual evidence that I’ve seen anywhere else either, despite many Bernie supporters making the claim (and, btw, failing by shouting “VOTER fraud!”, when their concerns are actually ELECTION fraud!)
Either way, unsupported claims doesn’t help anybody, particularly when there were REAL problems at the polls that needed to be figured out.
Hopefully you, and everyone else here, knows I have no prob charging folks with wrongdoing where evidence exists. And the Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell (a Republican, fwiw) deserves much blame for shutting down so many polling places. That doesn’t mean she tried to fix the election for Hillary. Nor does it mean the Democratic Party or Hillary did.

This responds to a recent letter to the editor asking whether Supervisor Ally Miller is correct that there was never any verification of the 2006 Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) election. Supervisor Miller is incorrect. A conspiracy theorist suggested the county flipped the 2006 RTA election. After an investigation by the Arizona attorney general, who hand-counted every ballot cast for that election, the results were the same. A complete hand count of every ballot by the Arizona attorney general is the best verification that these election results were correctly reported. To suggest otherwise is simply political grandstanding with the intent to deceive and mislead voters.
Our response:
Huckelberry: If it was a “conspiracy theorist” that caught your Elections Division rigging the RTA election, why would you then spend millions of taxpayers’ dollars after Goddard’s recount to prevent a simple forensic exam of the ballots?
Goddard alleged in his press conference that they did such a good job, they found 63 additional ballots. Evidently, this was supposed to distract the public from the fact their count was missing four precincts’ worth of ballots.
Goddard’s investigation was so bad it garnered national attention on the Mike Malloy show once it was discovered that over a third of the poll tapes (that Goddard refused to inspect) were missing.
The missing poll tapes strongly correspond with electronic records of the RTA election showing memory card re-uploads characteristic of an attempt to pre-program memory cards.
From the perspective of a statistical analysis, one only has to consider the odds for the same precincts experiencing the same re-upload errors correlating to the same missing poll tapes.
Goddard had also refused to perform a forensic exam of the ballots, despite a previous move by the county to compromise court evidence. On the day of his press conference, Goddard acknowledged to the public on the John C. Scott show that he was aware of Pima County violating a court order by compromising evidence in the county vault.

I’d say there is pretty solid evidence of voter SUPPRESSION:
In 2012, Maricopa County, which is the most populous county in Arizona, had over 200 polling locations open on primary day. In 2016, that number was reduced to just 60. This amounted to over 20,000 voters for every polling location, meaning voters had to stand in line for hours to cast their ballots.
FWIW, Hillary has won EVERY state with electronic voting machines.
Voters all over Twitter saying their party affiliations in closed-primary states have been switched to Independent or removed altogether.
