Seriously. To hell with false balance.
On today’s BradCast: a ton of news on Election 2016 — from the horse race (as ridiculous as it’s become) to the horrible track conditions on which the horses will be running, as Americans try to vote and have their vote counted, counted accurately and in a way that they can know it’s been counted accurately.
Meanwhile, the media, particularly the New York Times continue to confuse repeating with reporting on both voter suppression and climate change — and they actually appear to be getting worse, not better. So, Desi Doyen joins us to debunk the latest global warming denial nonsense from GOPers Trump, Fiorina and, yes, Palin with none of the Times’ ‘he said, she said’ false balance.
And finally, we finish with some thoughts very much worth pondering from Tom Engelhardt of TomDispatch and The Nation on this 14th anniversary of 9/11.

Brad, it’s wonderful that Mr. Engelhardt finds the event of 9/11 and most of the things that happened afterwards so unbelievable. The probability that 19 box-cutter armed terrorists could fly 3 of 4 planes directly into the offices of (or meetings of) good people trying to uncover–in the case of the Pentagon–trillions of dollars in thefts, could use commercial airliners to evade for hours a military armed with hundreds of fast-response manned and at-the-ready fighters at its command, and could bring down three steel superstructure buildings symmetrically directly into the path-of-most-resistance as if there were no resistance (i.e. at—or near–free fall speed) is beyond belief. The article skates ever so close to the truth. These things could happen–not because terrorists have discovered how to suspend Newton’s laws of motion to destroy buildings–but because 9/11 was an inside job complete with traitors inside our government who misdirected fighters, people planting explosives in the WTC, and a psych-op manipulation of our mass media from that day to this. Wake up, Tom. The revolution occurred 14 years ago, and apparently–even though you can describe it in detail–you missed it.
