It occurred to me on the way over to the studio on Monday, when I was worried I might be running late, that if I didn’t make it, Thom could just re-run the almost identical conversations we’ve had about virtually the same damn thing from back in 2012 or back in 2010 or back in 2008 or back in 2006, etc…

Good job Brad, on getting the word out about how these ancient dinosaur touchscreens may fail on Election Day! Here in Pennsylvania approximately 85% of the vote is still on Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) touchscreens and pushbutton machines, all nine years old or older, and you are absolutely correct that there is no way whatsoever for voters or election officials to verify that votes are being counted as cast. We MUST continue the fight to protect every vote on a voter-marked paper ballot, and work to effectively count and audit them (in addition to any machine counting.) For now, VotePA.us has a flyer up on our homepage, with information for Pennsylvania voters as to what to do if they experience or witness a voting machine malfunction. And everyone reading this, please take Brad’s words (and mine) seriously — Watch Your Voting Machine! http://www.votepa.us/index.php/...le/view/127/1/
Opps, here is the correct link to the Pennsylvania flyer… http://www.votepa.us/files/9014...014FLYER-1.pdf
I just saw this ( http://toprightnews.com/?p=6910 ), and immediately came to your website to see if you had any news. My first reaction was that something seemed very fishy considering the history of the last few elections. Looking forward to hearing more about this from you as investigate.
Nice interview Brad. I’m sure we’ll see you on the PBS News Hour before the election. 🙂
It’s really hard to see the rest of the world doing SO much better in their elections then we do, and they have been for many years now.
