{"id":9902,"date":"2013-03-06T12:36:16","date_gmt":"2013-03-06T20:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bradblog.com\/?p=9902"},"modified":"2013-03-06T12:35:42","modified_gmt":"2013-03-06T20:35:42","slug":"charts-of-the-moment-gop-protecting-record-corporate-profits-and-the-rich-getting-richer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bbnewdb.webbyspice.com\/?p=9902","title":{"rendered":"Charts of the Moment: GOP Protecting Record Corporate Profits and the Rich Getting Richer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, we offered <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=9899\">a single chart<\/a> as a reminder of who is really to blame for America&#8217;s &#8220;DEBT CRISIS!!!&#8221; (which, as we noted prior to that, <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=9887\">isn&#8217;t really a crisis at all<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>As the Dow hit its <a href=\"http:\/\/bostonherald.com\/business\/business_markets\/2013\/03\/markets_keep_rising_after_dow_hits_record_high\">all-time record high<\/a> yesterday (continuing same today) and while corporate profits continue to hit record highs along with it &#8212; underscoring, yet again, that Barack Obama is the <b>worst socialist ever<\/b> &#8212; there are a couple more charts worth reminding you about today, courtesy of <a href=\"http:\/\/video.msnbc.msn.com\/the-rachel-maddow-show\/51059957\">Rachel Maddow&#8217;s show last night<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/BradBlog.com\/Images\/CorporateProfitsVLaborsShare_2010.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And while corporate profits sky-rocket, unemployment slowly (<i>really<\/i> slowly) improves, and Republicans hold the nation hostage with the &#8220;Sequester&#8221; by refusing to close any tax loopholes for the rich which might serve to increase revenues by even the tiniest amount, there is this chart to ponder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/BradBlog.com\/Images\/ActualDistributionOfWealth_2013.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>So, remember, when you hear Republicans claim they are concerned about &#8220;the deficit&#8221;, they are not. They are flat out lying.
