The subject material — Wednesday night’s ridiculous GOP 2024 “Presidential Primary Debate” (if it’s even worth calling it that) at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library out here in Simi Valley, California — is what makes it dumb. <\/p>\n

It featured seven “candidates” — former Vice President Mike Pence<\/b>, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis<\/b>, former South Carolina Gov. and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley<\/b>, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott<\/b>, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie<\/b>, supposed businessman Vivek Ramaswamy<\/b> and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum<\/b> — but not the much-indicted guy who Republicans apparently intend, for now, to actually nominate for the job next year.<\/p>\n
