Suffice to say, the story about the self-replicating African robot frogs is probably the <i>least<\/i> bizarre or disturbing story we cover. [<i>Audio link to full show is posted below this summary.<\/i>]<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a quick collection of just some of the news stories from which today&#8217;s program derives&#8230;or devolves, depending on how you wish to look at it&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scientists find <b>&#8216;xenobots&#8217;<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/technology\/583479-scientists-say-xenobots-worlds-first-living-robots-can-reproduce?amp\">can reproduce on their own<\/a>! What could possibly go wrong?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Possibly <a href=\"https:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/edblog\/pro-coup-trumpist-lawyer-lin-wood-seems-to-be-legit-bonkers\/sharetoken\/fLDHK1cbzkUj\">insane<\/a> &#8220;Stop the Steal&#8221; attorney <b>L. Lin Wood <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-news\/lin-wood-sidney-powell-stop-steal-scam-1263665\/\">declares<\/a> &#8220;Stop the Steal&#8221; is a Deep State scam; releases phone calls with QAnon loon and confessed felon <b>Michael Flynn<\/b> (now caught on tape <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/qanon-hero-michael-flynn-secretly-said-qanon-is-total-nonsense?ref=author\">declaring<\/a> QAnon to be a CIA scam) and with fake 2020 &#8216;audit&#8217; funder and former Overstock CEO <b>Patrick Byrne<\/b>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hottub_twin\/status\/1464376386869608451\">believes<\/a> failed &#8220;Kraken&#8221; lawsuit attorney <b>Sidney Powell<\/b> may have stolen as much as $70 million from the MAGA Mob for her phony, fraudulent 2020 lawsuits. Also, says Byrne, she&#8217;s in love with him, gets drunk, and has tried to &#8220;bed&#8221; him in front of others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The Dept. of Justice<\/b> has also taken notice of Powell and has now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/30\/sidney-powell-defend-the-republic-criminal-probe\/\">reportedly<\/a>, convened a criminal grand jury to subpoena her &#8220;Defending the Republic&#8221; grift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wood and a bunch of other Trump lawyers are facing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/11\/22\/politics\/gary-fielder-ernest-john-walker-fees-election-lawsuits\/index.html\">huge court sanctions<\/a> for their phony 2020 fraud lawsuits are now <a href=\"https:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/news\/pro-trump-lawyer-insists-powell-lassod-him-into-bogus-election-lawsuit-without-his-knowledge\">trying to claim<\/a> that Powell added their names to some of her &#8220;Kraken&#8221; lawsuits without their knowledge. (Don&#8217;t believe them.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Meanwhile, in Congress, things in Wingnut World are no less insane. The far-right House backbenchers are also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/30\/us\/politics\/boebert-greene-mace.html\">turning on each other<\/a>. Leading the charge over the cliff: CO&#8217;s <b>Lauren Boebert<\/b> and GA&#8217;s <b>Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/b> against fellow Republican and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JackPosobiec\/status\/1465706056172990478?s=20\">pro\/anti-vaxxer<\/a> <b>Nancy Mace<\/b> of SC as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is a deer in the headlights while hoping to become House Speaker someday. But it&#8217;s Democrats like MN&#8217;s <b>Ilhan Omar<\/b> who, for the moment, is paying the biggest &#8212; and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AOC\/status\/1466058094304239618?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">most frightening<\/a> &#8212; price&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Told you it was insane. But it&#8217;s worse than it sounds.
