I am extremely proud that The BRAD BLOG is now a part of Pacifica Radio’s nearly 65-year legacy, as highlighted in the new, very cool video above.
My own show, The BradCast, airs on Pacifica’s Los Angeles affiliate, KPFK 90.7 FM on Wednesdays at 3pm PT, and it’s an honor that our broadcasts are now part of Pacifica’s long and crucial legacy of broadcasting in the public interest over our public airwaves.
Archives of the The BradCast are available at KPFK here, or via RSS feed, and even on both the Stitcher Radio and TuneIn apps on your favorite smart device.
You can peruse and help preserve Pacifica’s incredibly rich and historical audio archives at PacificaRadioArchives.org

Thanks, Brad. Pacifica reflects the richness of media divorced from the corrupting influence of corporate wealth and power.
A great honor.
Much deserved.
Brad,
Pacifica is one of the most unique broadcasting operations anywhere because in an otherwise commercially or government sponsored broadcasting landscape, the Pacifica stations operate on a different model — they are listener sponsored. So they are not at the beck and call of corporations or governments. By religiously avoiding corporate and/or governmental “underwriting”, Pacifica has maintained it’s intellectual integrity and has routinely been “Speaking truth to power”.
The Pacifica Archive represents the historical record of the intellectual honesty and integrity that makes the Pacifica stations the national treasure they truly are.
As we approach the 10th anniversary of our invasion of Iraq, we should remember that only the Pacifica radio stations and and a few independant web sites in this country were able to provide honest coverage of the truly massive protests against the impending Iraq war which took place both in this country and around the world. The Pacifica archives should have contemporaneous copies of the broadcasts of the Pacifica radio stations in their coverage of those protests.
Your program on KPFK will be preseerved in one of the greatest historical records being preserved in this country and you have joined an honorable group of reporters, still speaking truth to power despite the many years of political attacks from the powerful attempting to silence the truth tellers.
