The 23 Scandalous ‘Executive Actions’ Dictator Obama Signed Today to Rob Us Of Our Freedoms!

Share article:

Oh, sure. They laughed when Matt Drudge responded as follows to Vice-Dictator Biden’s remarks last week that Dictator Obama may propose “executive action” to be taken in addition to his recommendations to Congress for new gun safety measures…

But now that Herr Obama has maniacally and tyrannically signed 23 gun-grabbing executive orders actions today (all listed below), without anybody’s permission, who’s laughing now?

Certainly not Washington Times Columnist Emily Miller:

Or Fox News Radio Host Todd Starnes:

Or super-genius Republican “voter fraud” crusader Matthew Vadum who, as ever, has his thumb firmly on the pulse of America and courageously said this afternoon, out loud, what we are all thinking today!:

So, for the record, courtesy of comrade Rick Ungar at leftist rag Forbes magazine, here are the 23 scandalous, shocking, outrageous, gun-grabbing, tyrannical, impeachment-worthy executive actions — and freedoms lost — that Dictator Obama signed today…

Gun Violence Reduction Executive Actions:

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

11. Nominate an ATF director.

12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

Outrageous! Shocking! What about Liberty?!

As comrade Ungar notes at the end of the above list: “It does not appear that any of the executive orders would have any impact on the guns people currently own — or would like to purchase — and that all proposals regarding limiting the availability of assault weapons or large ammunition clips will be proposed for Congressional action. As such, any potential constitutional crisis, or charges that the White House has overstepped its executive authority, should be mooted.”

Well, maybe. But that’s only because gun-grabber Ungar is clearly little more than a naive tool of King Obama’s tyrannical administration!

Freedom!

* * *

UPDATE: And…as if the above isn’t tyrannical enough, Reichmaster Obama has also proposed these following new measures to Congress! Congress! Where they must be approved by a majority vote (except in the Senate, where they must be approved by a two-thirds vote, thanks to the filibuster) as part of our careful, Constitutional system of checks and balances in both the U.S. House and Senate and then pass Constitutional muster in our judiciary system if they are challenged by any citizen!

  • Require criminal background checks for all gun sales. (a.k.a. closing the “gun show loophole.”)
  • Reinstate and strengthen the assault weapons ban.
  • Restore the 10-round limit on ammunition magazines.
  • Protect police by finishing the job of getting rid of armor-piercing bullets.
  • Give law enforcement additional tools to prevent and prosecute gun crime.
  • End the freeze on gun violence research.
  • Make our schools safer with more school resource officers and school counselors, safer climates, and better emergency response plans.
  • Help ensure that young people get the mental health treatment they need.
  • Ensure health insurance plans cover mental health benefits.

End the Congressionally imposed freeze on gun violence research?! Is he a power-hungry mad-man?! If this isn’t an impeachment-worthy dictatorship, we don’t know what is!

Save us, NRA!

It’s important to note that former Dictators Reagan, Bush Sr. and Clinton all supported the most controversial measures listed above concerning background checks, the assault weapons ban and limitations on high-capacity magazines. But, as Erich Pratt of Gun Owners of America made clear to Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC just after Obama’s dictatorial actions today, Reagan only supported those measures “in his later years”. In other words, as HuffPo’s Ryan Reilly helpfully translates Pratt for us: “Reagan only supported gun control because he was senile.”

  1. OMG! Did anybody read proposal #6:

    6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

This is the end of liberty! The sky is falling! Not even Dr. Evil could have imagined such evil. Why didn’t the Mayan calendar prophesy work and just put us out of our misery?

I’m moving to a country where my gun rights will be respected – Somalia.

  2. These people are living the “law of reverse” …their right-wing X-tian fundamentalist Bibli-umbilical cord has oxygen starved them and they think in reverse of all that is good…or God.

  3. I just took my full sized American flag out back and buried it. Then I hid my soldering gun away from the U.N. stormtroopers!

Sadly what is likely required to take Teabagging idiots like my new Congressman to vote against gun non-regulation is to show the nightmarish images of the shredded little kids with parents permission. Some are displaying incredible strength.

  4. I’ve got an idea for a new Reality TV show:
    The ANTI-ATF Agents-
“A show hto demonstrate how regular “real” Americans are stockpiling weapons of all sorts for the Waco-like ATF/FBI blitzkrieg that’s coming to take away our guns.”

The program would be a public service program because it would allow the Justice Department, ATF and FBI to watch the program, create a warrants list as well as a list of charges to issue to the dimwit that volunteers to be on the program. The CDC (for mental health) could also take notes for eveidence of paranoid schizophrenia so that the mental pigmy can lose gun rights for the foreseeable future.

  5. I don’t have any problem with the new rules but the man is the President. It would be nice if he could lead, as he was elected to do. I know Brad, there’s an opposition party and thankfully no other President has ever had to deal with that…

  6. @#6 WINGNUTSTEVE

I believe this falls under the category of Leadership. What am I missing?

Great idea, but you’re too late, Alex! See Doomsday Preppers on the National Geographic channel. You’re welcome!

I think you mean opposition lobby, no?

And then @ 8 he said:

Seeking to divide rather than working towards consensus is not leadership IMO.

Divide? How so? By calling for actions previously supported by leftist radicals like Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford and George Bush Sr., and most of them supported by the vast majority of NRA members??

Where’s the divisive part?? What am I missing? He forgot to sit down to hash things out with the KKK first before proposing moderate reforms to be passed (or not) by Congress??

  9. Such a tyrant, he got up there and asked, begged Congress to pass legislation, it’s so oppressive. And who is he to lead us, I mean who appointed him….oh, oops, we elected him last month.

  10. Brad, I misread the story. I thought he signed executive orders, just now catching up on the news after a busy day. I fully support executive actions initiating discussion on the subject of sensible gun control.

Not sure how the KKK applies but whatever

  11. This is hilarious. I know the sarcastic tone is directed to journalists who apparently didn’t even read what Obama was proposing with regard to gun reforms, but isn’t there some support for the idea of “King Obama?” After all, he has claimed the president has or at the very least should have the authority to murder and indefinitely detain US citizens without due process?

  12. … Sam said…

“After all, he has claimed the president has… the authority to murder and indefinitely detain US citizens without due process?”

He does claim the authority to do both, and he also claims that the only “due process” that is needed is an administration memo that someone needs to die or disappear.

  13. When I heard your podcast I felt that I knew you were being sarcastic, ironic and tongue in cheek. Then I heard the callers and they took your comments seriously.

Did I miss something? I thought it was a great hilarious podcast, until I heard the callers that took it serious. Please, it was a joke, right…?

  14. And how about the insidious #7?

    7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

We know that’s just a cover for mind-warping brainwashing commie gun-grabbing youth-destroying tactics comparable to the Chinese! Right??!!!

  15. The Senate filibuster is not two-thirds, Brad. And here I thought you cared about counting votes correctly.

  16. Good thing real Americans pay no attention Presidential Imperial Edicts. In fact, just before the incident in Newtown, State Rep. Dan Brown, R-Rolla, filed a bill that would require an NRA gun safety course to be taught to all first graders in Missouri public schools.

In a recent podcast, Brown, a longtime NRA proponent, says that even if guns are outlawed, they will be around for a long time and there are other ways to “wreak havoc” at an elementary school, including using sticks or knives. http://rturner229.blogspot.com/2013/01/rolla-senator-who-proposed-nra-classes.html

“Call Officer Dan, Timmy has a STICK!”

  17. nevermind that executive orders were originally only for the purpose that the executive can make requests for essential goods for the whitehouse, like drapes, plates, chairs.. You can be tounge and cheek about it all you want, but the fact remains that the way they are used are highly abusive, and such power has been entirely made up and sustained by presidents that we never should have tolerated such from. It’s always been an impeachable offense, regardless of which president did it.
