The final installment of “Bush League Justice” on MSNBC Live with Dan Abrams deals with the controversial prosecution of former Democratic Alabama Governor Don Siegelman. Evidence suggests that Siegelman, who remains in prison, was wrongly prosecuted by prominent Alabama Republicans with the help of Karl Rove.
For starters, two prominent Republicans, Senator Jeff Sessions and Judge William Pryor Jr., were also named by the chief witness against Siegelman but were never even investigated. Further, a Republican lawyer working for Siegelman’s political opponent has sworn under oath that he overheard key Republicans on Governor Riley’s team discussing the case. He quotes one operative as saying:
After a brief introduction, Rep. Artur Davis (D-AL) and Harper’s Scott Horton join Abrams for an in depth discussion about the case.

That wasn’t the first time they did that. Remember the lady they railroaded and when the appeal came before the appellate court they immediatly … during the hearing … ordered her released that day!
The preznit blush, the railroader in chief and head of the bullshit railroad.
The story does not end with republican fascists, because the dems in congress are showing growing numbers of fascists there too. They are the enablers of bushie league
justicejust us and are aFeinsteinfine stain upon american values of freedom. The three largest newspapers plus the Internet site al.com in Alabama are all owned by Advance Publications, INC. They literally print nothing but lies about all Democrats in the state. They will not allow their investigative reporters any access to these cases. If they would have investigated and printed the truth about Don Siegelman like the locally own papers done the Canary’s would have been run out of the state by its citizens before now.
It has taken a few months, but most Alabamians now know the truth about their good friend Don Siegelman, about the conspiracy that removed the most popular Democrat in Alabama by Bush’s appointees and how his elections were taken from him.
These three newspaper instruct their writers to start every article that they write about Siegelman with this statement, “our newspapers endorsed Riley and we believe Siegelman to be a crook” then they twist every sentence after that to sound negative.
Many of us are dropping our subscriptions and are switching to locally owned newspapers.
I’m glad the people are seeing through the Republican con-job, flash.
I myself would like to see Riley in the frog march with the Turdblossom
