On today’s BradCast, more Republican efforts to keep (certain) voters from voting in several states where demographics are quickly moving against them, and they’re beginning to get very worried, for good reason, in advance of 2018 — but even ahead of the important U.S. House special election run-off election set for June in Georgia! [Audio link to show is posted below.]

An exception to the rule for The Donald (Donald Trump has ‘dangerous mental illness’, say psychiatry experts at Yale conference)
Unfortunately, now the chief “special overseer” would be AG Jefferson Beauregard Sessions II, a man so blatantly bigoted the Senate once refused to confirm him to a federal judgeship to which Ronald Reagan had nominated him. Ah, how times change….
There is a vote in Switzerland next month about energy policies. The No vote has big money behind it, but not as much money as we think. No one has talked about the Keep It In The Ground policy of the Paris Accords. Over 50% of the funds of the Central banks of Europe, of the big banks such as UBS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and most of the retirement accounts are invested in fossil fuels. They are also investing heavily in the infrastructure of fracking and Bitumin. These investments have a 30 year amortization, so they are misleading their shareholders and the citizens.
I have been an activist for EV in Europe. The key to going electric is battery production. The only one doing this on a large scale is Tesla. Who is writing letters to the workers unions asking them to put pressure on management to make the transition. It worked with Audi, I wrote to the German Green Party 2 years ago. Every time I go into a hotel or a restaurant I ask about the nearest charging point. I then can start a conversation.
Has your radio station invested in solar PV and batteries? Do you have an EV charging station? How many are driving EV? Just asking. How is that Green thingie going?
