On today’s BradCast we cover Tuesday’s Presidential Primary in New York, from the reported results (huge margins for both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton), to concerns about the accuracy of results, to the multiple official probes that have now been promised by the state Attorney General and the NYC Comptroller.
Those officials have stated they plan to look into reported mass voter purges, failed tabulation computers and other completely predictable problems faced by voters at polling places in the Empire State yesterday.
We also open the phone lines to callers ringing in on those results and concerns, and where Democrats should (and shouldn’t) go from here as the nomination race moves forward to PA, MD, DE, CT and RI next week and ultimately out here to CA in June.
Also today: Breaking news on criminal indictments in Flint, MI; a billion dollar settlement for Volkswagen; Harriet Tubman to replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill; the hottest March in recorded history in our latest Green News Report; and much more about which our own Desi Doyen has a word or three to share.
That’s a very short description of a very busy program today, but I hope you’ll give it a listen anyway!

this is long but i will try and summarize
the illinois ballot integrity peops observed the 5% audit every election district in illinois is required to preform,in chicago
@25 minute mark laura chamberlian reports one audit found 49 more bernie votes than the tape reported and 49 less hc votes so they simply erased the bernie tallies and added 49 to hc
@1:17 mark a gentleman reports that the audits appeared to be a way to match the audit results to the pre reported outcomes….and he explains the 3 ways he saw it happening and says he has evidence
karenfromillinois:
I just watched a good portion of the video after the 25 minute mark. The woman who seems to be presiding over the hearing made me laugh. After the poor woman speaking goes out of her way to make sure the panel knew they had no intention of connecting any vote with a voter, the chairwoman wastes her precious time by saying something like, “but, isn’t that the intention; to keep the vote from being connected with the voter”?
Isn’t it the job of the chair to at least try to listen to what’s going on?
Oh, what am I saying. She’s doing her job perfectly. I’ve been to a lot of these “hearings” in Utah. It’s never hard to see who’s telling the truth.
Also:
Unless I missed something, the old man with the beard, who seemed to have presided over the audit got accused of replacing Sanders votes with Hillary votes. Shouldn’t he be getting angry instead of trying to bore everybody to death. 🙂
And then when the citizen who’s making sense tries to respond to the old man with the beard, the chairwoman interrupts to let the old man keep boring people to death. 🙂
I hope I’m not being too heavy here, but something about the banality of evil comes to mind.
hi larry,
the beard was the attorney, scanlon who seems to oversee the audit
yes they were clearly accused of erasing sanders votes on the tally and adding hc votes so the results of audit would match the reported output
I’ve filmed a couple of hearings about election issues here. The Plaintiffs always seem to be telling the truth and the “officials” always seem to be protecting something. Most likely their jobs. Nobody like to lose their job, especially when the job involves sitting around.
All these machines have to go.
